In my college's machine shop years ago I watched with amusement as 4 students and a shop aid tried like hell to loosen up the bottom bracket of an older Specialized bike. Wrench wouldn't do it, drill wouldn't do it, and finally after they were about to snap the damn thing apart with an impact I suggested that it might be a left hand thread. Surprise, came right off!

Watched the "Head of Eng." at work put his kids bicycle crank into a vice on a bridgeport and then with a open end wrench and a 3 foot pipe "Get that pedal off".....L.H. thread. (Head of ENG. was back in the day the softball coach of the owners kids and at one point a drill press operator. That's life )

FNG Fun? Send the new kid with a styrofoam cup for some acetone? The old "left handed crescent wrench". Ect. We used to make fighter aircraft for the U.S. gubmint. The pranks were endless. Tie some dry ice into basically a "playtex" glove, and put it in a trash can. Prussian blue artist oil takes hours to dry. Put it anywhere, get someone. Send the new kid to get his hammer calibrated. Our building was over a mile long with 3 calibration sites. They knew the joke. "Gotta go down there".

Got home from vacation yesterday afternoon, quickly proceeded to get back to working on the Yamaha. The factory clamp from mid pipe to muffler is too big for the FMF so I’ll have to get a slightly smaller one or just run RTV like the instructions state. It looks trick and has a better bark to it that’s for sure, trying to stop myself from buying the complete head pipe to complete the package... definitely don’t need more power. Thank you FMF! This thread cracks me up, I’m not a poster on here or care about what anyone rides, but here is my 2018 RMZ with 105 hours. It cost me 6300otd in December 2017. Factory connection revalved suspension for $650 when I got it other than that it’s bone stock. So far never touched a bolt on engine and clutch only have needed to replace wear items.
