Looks like they freed up some money in the marketing budget after Dungey left.

Yea he definitely can't get rid of the 2 strokes. They're iconic!

Can't really say I'm surprised, figured a change would happen sooner or later if he wanted to keep riding 2 strokes.

Works forks $4500 obo. I want them so bad, but it just doesn't add up right because my RM is a garage queen.

Pastrana is going to sell the daylights out of those things for KTM.

It truly is a shame, suzuki could have taken the latest 125/250 engine and engineered it into the newest frame. They would have sold all day.

The 15 year old yamahas still sell great and ktm proved developing both lines pays off. I really dont think suzukis future is great.

In a current thread.... I was reading a day or so ago, with McGrath to Kawi, Dunge to Honda, and Villopoto to Yammy.
Someone mentioned that They could never ever see Pastrana on anything but Suzuki. I agreed...... Now boooooooom.
It’s so shocking it’s great...... as mentioned above Travis will sell a ton of these things. Great move by “The Man” and KTM in general.... Travis still draws plenty of attention and a large crowd!!,!

It's a 450 and probably actually an RMX450, or at least the motor/cases. But yes that is electric start -- RMX450 has had electric start since 2010.

Seriously can't get new parts for rms or did KTM throw more support and money to Pastrana?

Where do you see those for sale!?

Good for Travis-he is so talented it is ridiculous. And Roger knows the power of Travis-so it cost him a few 2 strokes....big whoop. Great move by the Man. Wait till the 199 breaks out a factory 300 for RBR next year. Talk about ROI there. I'd like to know what Travis thinks about new 2 stroke technology. He is probably shaking his head! He certainly doesn't owe Suzuki anything thats for sure.

Well, Suzuki has apparently no idea how many bikes Travis sells for them. If they haven't supported him for 10 years, they truly doesn't care how many bikes they sell.

Travis apparently has been buying his own Suzuki’s for the last 10 years, so if Roger and KTM want to give him a truckload of cutting-edge two stroke dirt bikes, who in their right mind would say no?

Dude the child in me is literally crying right now, I don't know if I'm going to be able to get used to this ever. Growing up it was RC and Travis on RMs, my two biggest heros, they're not allowed to switch brands ever damn it!Laughing

I can't blame him for switching, it's going to be a night and day difference, but Jesus Christ who the hell is streering the ship at Suzuki making Travis source his own parts and bikesPinch I mean he and RC were the reason I was dead set on getting an RM for my first 250 years ago, they're absolutely insane not throwing him every part they have.

It doesn't say Suzuki didn't support him unless you're reading something i'm not Unsure

Travis's post says he bought his Suzuki's with his own money for the last 10 years, it does not say Suzuki didn't support him in any way. I don't see any brand buying 15 year old used bikes to provide to an athlete.

Carmichael will be next, you just watch.

It's pretty clear that Suzuki simply does not care about dirt bikes any longer.

All Roger and Ktm need to do now is sign McGrath when his contract is up with Kawi. McGrath and Pastrana being brand ambassadors would be the beeeez neeez!!!!! KTM and smoker sales would probably go through the roof!!!

Just my very, very, very excited opinion!!!!!
