An admittedly out of shape Chad Reed might be a good placeholder for the unfortunate JS 17.
He most likely will not cost too much money as this puts himself back on tier 2 level equipment and allows him more time to train. I think a win/win for both JGR & Chad.
Sucks big time for Joey. He deserves better than an injury after the past year at Kawasaki.
