I know not that like able but gotta give credit where it’s due. He rode great and it looks like 2020 will be a good year for the mcr boys

If all SX races were only 10 laps we would see a lot of new faces in the winners circle it laps 11-20 that separate the men from the boys.

He always seems to find a way to be up front for a chunk of the race, no matter what.

He looked good but I’m going to wait until a SX race with a full field before I make any bold claims. Tomac was the only one racing that was in the top 10 in points of the 2019 SX season.

I predict quite a few holeshots, probably no less than 2 so-so starts, a shit ton of blocking and quite a few top tens.

This coming from someone that can’t stand Vince.

I said it in the night show thread but I was impressed by Vince. Great starts, excellent aggression to get up front early... perhaps he and Mookie together can push each other to be better. Throw in Hill and MCR should have a solid team this year with plenty of top 10 representation.

And their bikes were running really, really amazing.

If someone had your nearest and dearest at gun point and you had to pick Alessi or Friese to the first corner, who you got?

I'm with you on the whole MCR team....except for the Hill aspect. SX only, and I don't think he can do a full season. I know it's tough as hell, but a training program for he that is to start in November, should have already started to secure a gig. Could have hired others dying for a chance that have heart....... " I signed the dotted line, I'll start training in a week or so....." Nope. Talent is there, ethic or drive? It's strumming an acoustic somewhere.......

Its a joke they signed the kid and he wasn’t ready for 3 10 minute races on an amateur all stars track.

I think I’d take Alessi. Dude knows how to holeshot.

or perhaps they didnt have a bike ready for him to race in MEC, you ASSUME he isnt in shape due to the known "8 week programme" but he may well be able to do 3 10 min races fine...certainly there is no pressure he should attend (like other racers who didnt).

It’s an exhibition race that nobody showed up for, and now we are going to make a determination about the 2020 SX season?

Everybody can hate on Vince because of the Situation with Weston, but Vince is an amazing talent on the bike and a great guy off the bike. Yes, he needs to be able to hold that intensity for 20+ minutes, but even the best in the world struggle with that.

Yes and no. Out of all the triple crown races the guy you would have least likely expected to win, won Daytona later in the year.

Maybe he wanted to race, but Tony and Mike G thought it would be better to have him sit out? Maybe have him get more bike time and testing done. Also so he doesn’t feel pressured to show them that they did good signing him and get hurt or something riding over his head on a brand he’s never ridden before.

Not a big Friese fan, but totally impressed by the way he rode... Really competitive field and only tougher if he keeps riding like that.

Solid ride and yes I've liked Vince the last few years also and each year he seems to be getting faster and more confident.

Mookie looked great too, congrats to all of the members of the MCR team.

Dude is a great starter, has top notch equipment, and has turned into a guy with top 5 speed... if he can keep his nose clean and focused on racing, not rollerball, he could have his best season ever...

No way is he or will he be a top 5 guy with everyone there.
