Regardless of being Fase's boyfriend: Pootjes is a decent signing for f&h. If he stays healthy its a dutch guy for a dutch team whowill finish between 5&10 in the championship, with some top 5s and maybe a podium. (He was in that spot in 18&19 by the time he got injured).
He just has to stay healthy, which is a big ?

Horgmo i'm not sure if he is really that much of an upgrade.

1- they alreaqdy have a Dutch rider called van de Moosdijk
2- We're hearing that for the last 5 years, but he never finishes a season without injuries and has never shown the speed of a winner. He had 5 years to prove himself and was on the best bike in the best team (Red Bull KTM), he just doesn't has it.

I think F&H can do better. But hey, he f%#k's the teamowners daughter, so he'll end up there anyway. (and get kicked out as soon and that's over like Herbreteau)

Herbreteau didn't deliver any results at all. Pootjes is decent and got a lot better thanks to De Reuver.

Herbetreau got kicked out the second they broke up. That what could happen to Pootjes too...

On the other hand. Pootjes already scored a 3rd place in Latvia 5 seasons ago, this year his best result is two 4th places. He didn't make any progression if you look at it that way. He has always been a top 5-10 rider and will never be much better. Only thing he is consistent in is gettin injured. I'm not a fan as you can read

Nobody is saying Pootjes is factory rider material, nor special. But he is a decent rider, who had 11 top 10 finishes in his first 14 moto's this year including to 2 dnfs due to tecnical issues.

Which rider was/is available that has shown better results than what Pootjes has shown?

The only one i can think of is Renaux who was probably available at one point during the season.
All others are to old, signed by better teams/factories, are unproven talents or have the same performance/injury history.

But hey, it's easier to just make it all about him dating her and getting kicked out asap right?

He is indeed having a good season, a bit like Vialle last year, his wilcards ride were good and with lots of riders forced to move up I could see him doing what Vialle did this season if he has a great winter.

He is already putting in Top 10 results, a few riders needs to move up and with a good winter with Vialle and Herlings he could be a top 5 guy

You sure? That would be a very long lasting deal disappearing, sounds very strange to me.
Yeah pretty sure. It could be it will be not that noticeable to the outside world but they are pulling themselves out of the Kawasaki team, but keeping involved in the team due to the personal sponsorship they have with Romain Febvre.

To prevent double posting: Rene Hofer would've and should've been a MX2 rider already this year. The kid was killing it in the EMX125 and did great on a 250cc bike in Austrian championship and ADAC Youngsters (winning against Jett Lawrence both on 250cc bikes) back in 2018 but then he broke his femur, so his move to the MX2 has been postponed to 2020. KTM and Red Bull really wanted to move fast with this kid because he's quite special!

My source about Austrian stuff is a Austrian Journalist who also does something like promotes the Austrian MX championship. Shout out to Uwe!

Yeah I remember that there was rumors last year that Hofer may take Jonass’ bike next to Prado, but then the injury happend. He has pitted under the tent already this year, and with Prado’s seat open for next year and him being the biggest talent KTM has had since well, Prado, I think there are enough dots to connect there. And that’s without mentioning the biggest and most obvious dot that he’s Austrian.

A week or so ago Horgmo did some q&a on his insta. One of the qustions was "can you give some insight on your 2020 plans" or something like that. Horgmo posted a story as response with an orange dot and an icon of a factory with a cross in it. Which i translate as ktm non factory, so no f&h
There was a thread about Horgmo a couple of weeks back, and someone mentioned seeing him testing with Marchetti if i remember correctly.
If that’s the case, I hope it works out for him. Working with Italian teams isn’t necessarily the easiest thing to do if you’re not Italian.

My source says the KTM Factory does not have the budget for Hofer! Prado and Cairoli ride for de Carli and JH and Vialle for RedBull KTM

He was in the running for Mitch's team but that ride went to McAdoo...not much left for him in the states...maybe a Rock River type ride but that's about it...

Dixon is in about Sanayei and Anstie possibly riding for him in mxgp
Well that sounds most inconsistent team together.

I did say when the stars align.
It should be noted that Dixon's bike are some of the fastest most innovative bikes on the circuit despite their occasional technical issues.Blush Smile

I see Max finished 3rd in the World, on Kawasaki, (which was their last podium in MX2) that was also his best overall finish despite being on factory Husky MX2 since!

It would be a massive gamble for PC to sign Sanayei. He showed flashes last year early on but with his injuries etc he has no results really for nearly 2 years outdoors, and I’m guessing like Covington he will have next to no SX experience. It’s a surprise to me that he was even in the conversation when it comes to that ride, I would have thought he would’ve had to been a podium guy this year for Mitch to consider him. I think he has a Dixon deal on 450 in place, so he has an option, as you said, rides in the states are thin on the ground

Wasn’t Martens suppose to announce news of a new team at this weekends race?

After the Grand Prix of Sweden is what I've heard. But last thing I've received is that it will be Kawasaki... Gebben will switch to Yamaha.

LOL, I think it’s funny Everts Vital rep is directly tied to his relationship to Herlings. They didn’t get along so Everts must be hard to deal with.

I was told in Uddevalla this weekend that Rasmus Jörgensen who today works as a trainer for the guys inside JM Racing is the guy that get the sponsors of Jacky Martens to go with him for a new team.

Did I hear correctly, Malin said that Kay de Wolf is moving up to EMX250 next year? Strange decision, I would’ve thought a minimum of 2 years on a 125.

He is still quite small so that seems a bit early. Maybe 125 isn't part of the new teams plans?

Kay De Wolf is really fast already though. It will be exciting to follow his career.

Will Jed Beaton stay for 2020? Will he turn 23 next year?
