I think I've been most excited for Ironman for some reason. The track just looks sick/fun imo. Sucks this is the last one (unless they decide to come out with the first half of the series at some point) but overall super happy with this game and the nationals DLC!

I like the manual transmission much better than the auto. Most tracks I’m almost always in 3rd or 4th with 450. My problem is the controller configurations aren’t fully customizable. I found a preset that has my shift buttons where I like, but then the rear brake is moved to the left stick and is barely usable. So now I ride without a rear brake which sucks.

you guys who are playing the game in automatic....you have to learn to play in manual. i can’t stress this enough. imo if you want the best experience from the game, play FPV with manual transmission.

Gotta echo others here, you WILL be faster in manual transmission. It isn't hard to learn at all, mostly you stay in 2nd-4th gear

Have they announced if they will be doing the rest of the nationals? Southwick would be cool

I too am losing power before the step up at Budds. It's unridable with the current physics to go to the right. I've found going all the way to the left carries the most speed.

I am trying to learn to ride this game with manual trans but always end up going back to auto. I run the mxgp and supercross games in manual and love the shit out of it. I don't know what my issue is with All Out. I think the jerkiness and arcady physics of the All Out makes it more difficult for me to adjust to manual. Mxgp has more predictability (in my opinion) to know when to shift, making it more of a thing that I don't have to think about, I just do it. If that makes sense.
This game in manual transmission mode shifts way too slow is the problem imho. In mxgp pro I can bang off a couple downshifts or upshifts in a second, way too slow on this one.

That’s exactly what I was trying to say, but couldn’t find the right words! In MXGP, I never had to look to see what gear I was in, because I knew. In All Out, when I kick it down two gears and then up 2 out of the corner, I should be in 4th and then I look down and I’m still in 2nd or I’m way up in 5th. And the engine sounds don’t really match sometimes to tell you what gear you’re in. I feel like they nailed this in MXGP.

I agree. That’s my biggest complaint with this game

I have gotten back into the game after playing Ride 3 and Motogp 19. I have all of the DLC besides the hometown national tracks.

I must say I have been having an absolute blast playing the AMA tracks. I love LL, buds, and Unadilla the most but all of the tracks are fun. I have been playing in auto just because that what I am used to with most racing games. I have been EXTREMELY frustrated because I just absolutely get my doors blown off online. Not only that but the bike would sometimes get stuck in first gear. I bought a DLC bike which actually helped the first gear problem. I now will try in manual thanks to everyone on here.

Do you guys find bike set up specific to you or can you run other peoples set ups and gain speed?

Here is a little throw back Friday..... if you look at my screen shot I called this out exactly almost 3 years ago. I noticed the banners at Ironman back in 2016. 3 years later you all for your replicas. Lol. Man I wish the boys at Nordic would invite me out sometime for track walks gameplay shows. I don’t have all those YouTube channels but I called this literally 3 years ago.

What kinda tune are you guys running for a 125. Got the 450 about where I like it but I just started playing around on the 125. Much thank you

Anyone else’s game running like crap after the last update? Screen tearing and freezing up momentarily has gotten so bad. Loved how great the game ran prior the update but now I can’t even run Times laps on redbud smoothly.

I've got to say, this game got a lot of crap for graphics at the beginning, but the nationals on my PC on Epic setting are pretty sweet

time to move on, bro.
peelout, Have you actually ever ridden or raced a motocross bike? If you have, then you have very low standards and expectations of this software! I am willing to send you video of how ridiculous the gameplay is regarding this game. OH WAIT! I NEED TO MOVE ON! How dare I expect realism in, 2019 of a racing title? I am demanding the developers to make the game feel more real. You spouting, "time to move on" is not constructive. Let me ask, do you feel the latest patch (2.6) makes the game more playable? If you do not agree, then you are clueless. In order for sales to go up and help this game to grow, the developers need to hear it. It is obvious they are listening, BTW!

by no means is the transmission good. in fact it does suck. it’s my biggest complaint with the game but it’s much better than automatic. to the person talking about how the bike sounds like it’s in the wrong gear, i know what you mean but sometimes the higher rev in a higher gear is supposed to mimic the rear wheel spinning. remember when the game first came out they talked about dynamic engine sounds meaning for example if the bike is under load it’s going to bog. the game just doesn’t do a very good job. listen to the sound of your bike when going up a long face to a jump, the pitch will drop. the transmission needs a lot of work but again sometimes it’s your rear wheel spinning even though the game does a poor job at showing the rear wheel spin visually and giving the player that feedback other than the engine noise. if you remember the picture rainbow released of the tuning guide, it showed traction to one side and “wheel spinning” at the other. you people thumbs down my comment about the game being better in manual but i don’t think that’s even up for discussion lol. just because you haven’t learned how to use it doesn’t mean the game isn’t better in manual lol. the tranny isnt the best in manual but it’s much worse in auto, especially if you’re not setting the engine/sprocket differently for each track. that’s why the bike is ok on some tracks and you have problems on others

I mean, a lot of us here rode/raced motocross in real life, some of us at an above average level. On top of that, many of us are upper 20s or in our 30s, and come from the days of excitebike 64, RC Championship Motocross, Superfly, Jeremy McGrath, MTX Mototrax, EA sports, etc.... so yeah, this game is FUN

I was very excited to have the opportunity to share the pinnacle of competitive racing on Xbox One. Apologies to Stik and Pepperoni Kahn (the two Aussies) for not recognizing yals names... oof.

Podium overalls: Stik (1st), Mozenbeak (2nd), SteezyAF (3rd). Thank you again, had a blast, and cannot wait for Supercross Series.
