Good memories - too bad it burned to the ground. What year did it start?
My original MXKyle screen name was changed when Motodrive was absorbed into Vital.
I knew the original Redrider (RIP). He worked for me in Orlando.
Jim1934 is my father and still riding at 84 years old. Vital was a little too rough around the edges so he quit posting several years ago.

Do you attend any of the Spodefest events?
I flew all the way to Atlanta to attend the first one, it was a blast as MXtuner rented a track.
The ex-wife could not understand why I would fly across the country to meet a bunch of strangers I've never met.
Cyclenews board, Freshdirt then Motodrive.
Here are a couple photo's from the one in SC that was mostly RMD guys including Jim from Smackover and MX Tuner (those from RMD will remember those names). The loopout was me during the wheelie contest. I never did get much better but did wear gloves more often.

My only post till recently was on cyclenews and taught me how nasty forums could turn. It was about the Doug Henry Yammie 426 (or was it 400 ) era and a poster asked about racing the 426 in mx. I still remember my response:
Friends dont let friends race motocross on four stokes. They take spooky hops at the wrong time in the wrong directions. Sure, Henry and Button proved that you can win on them but success didnt come quick and didnt come without pain. Dont do it.
The first comeback:
I really want to put my fist down your throat and rip the heart from some asshole who really deserves it.
The remaining responses were on that level.
Decided not to post for awhile and nothing too critical.

Full anarchy and where I met friends I still have today... been best man at one's wedding, traveled with others and formed bonds that have never been duplicated
A little later it became a regular feature with Mikeee P (a fixture on RMD and Prodigy before that) doing most of the writing. Then, Mikeee split and started doing his own thing, with a forum, which is what most of you guys remember. I helped him with the domain name and pointed him in the right direction software-wise.
The rest is history.
FLA had a pretty strong presence on the site. Lot's of people enjoying the same things! Lot's of good times and memory's.
