I agree with you and I'm plenty nervous about the future. People forget, though, that one administration leads into the next. The Trump administration shut down the economy and then proudly printed Donald Trump's name on the stimulus checks and PPP loans. Trump cut corporate tax rates and a ton of that stimulus money went straight into stock buybacks, which went straight into executive bonuses. So then it gets handed off to a new administration, still dealing with the pandemic and now record inflation largely influenced by those stimulus checks and stock market. LOL. So true. The Trumpets are incredibly defensive. Makes sense that they are. They are being marginalized at light speed. Their guy is going down and they know it. Biden was 100% right to call out MAGA. The general public beyond Trump's cultists recognize that the Republican party needs to get away from him or they're done. Even Mitch McConnell knows that people like Greene, Boebert, McCarthy, Cruz, Jordan, Gaetz, Hawley, Graham, Cruz, et al. are kooks who will hurt the party.
