For anybody not in the know Saturday is around 400 quads with 60 or so sidecars chucked in and Sunday is 800 or so solos, mass start 1 mile long start straight and then 2 1/2 miles of big sand dunes. 3 hour race with 30,000 + spectators.
Its clashed with Superbikers in Belgium last few years,same as this year ,while you are axle deep in sand , i will be ragging round the SM equivalent of Namur, complete with pub LOL
i think last time i was at Weston i pit crewed for Ben & Nathan Watson, was the year of the big crash.

Its an experience to ride at , i give you that , i did it on a CR500, but the track was built back then to stop you getting round, and i fell out with it big time,

i would say that my top 5 would be

Old Unadilla (with grass on it)
Gaildorf
Lierop
Maggiora

Glad to see a few guys put Gopher Dunes in here. Every American pro that comes up and races it is surprised by it.
Bottomless sand, knee high bumps everywhere, flowing lines, and throw in some mid summer heat wave days with the Southern Ontario humidity and you have one nasty track... Love it!

I'm not being a douche, but.....WTF?? How does Keithsburg make the list? I totally missed it in the 70s/80s!! Looks like it USED to be totally killer!! ( literally) I snooped around and found a couple threads about it...seems it used to be the shizz! I lived 17 miles from the place....never once heard about it until the late 80s. DC put up some way cool old pics...seems Hannah won there in 77!

Certainly not on the top five list but if I could ride any track it would be Mosier valley about fifteen years ago. Nostalgia I suppose.

Yeah the track is deep and rough but it's not in the same league as some of the tracks above for it's location and setting.

Where in Hungary is this Dirtpark? Can the public ride it? My daughter's family is going to move to Hungary in October for three years. My son-in-law is in the Air Force and rides and is taking his KTM 450SX. He would love to know where to ride there.

When making a top 5 you are going to be leaving off many great tracks. I personally am not a fan of Ernee or SJDA, tracks are way to narrow for my liking, I do however like Villar Sous Ecot.
