You don't have to spend TOO much to get very good quality.
We sell event tees at moto and off-road events, so we need a high quality canopy. I've bought 2 of these a year ago and have been very happy.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Eurmax-WATERPROOF-EZ-Pop-Up-Canopy-10x10-Commer…

Color choices, heavy duty frame, primo carrying bag.

ALSO, as someone else already stated.. don't go with the 10x20 option. get (2) 10x10's and you'll be better off. Easier to set up and you have flexibility when space gets tight at the track.

Interested in this topic too as I need to get one for the races as well. The 10x20's I get through work have some shittastic frames. More than likely just going to buy 2 good 10x10's and be done with it. I don't need a 10x20 for most of the local day trips anyway.
It didnt last very long! haha
You say that like it we got an ultra heavy mid-race downpour or something... Blink

Hands down best ones out there.
I would like to disagree, Anyone that is looking for a quality tent give me a shout kkruse@eps-doublet.com
I do all the Tents for SCOTT, Stihl Chainsaws, Cricket Mobile, Honda, A-B, and many others.. I can get you a bombproof 10 x 20 unprinted for $1045. We went to the drawing board about 8 years ago when we were buying frames from other companies and printing our own tops since we were sick of them breaking. The plastic/teflon pieces in the corners are always the first to break so we incased ours in aluminum and boom. Lifetime warranty against manufacturers defects on the frame (this doesn't include when they take flight in the wind) Printed 10 x 10s I can have as low as $935..

Its funny, we still use a EZ-UP we've had for well over 15+ years. I have gone through two I had bought a couple years ago already. I think if you spend the money on one of their quality lines you would probably get the quality back. But it appears in order to keep up with the hack Chinese companies they have dropped quality and prices also. I picked up another EZ-UP recently for around $99.99 and the quality is even less then the two I went through a couple years ago. But for $99.99 and free shipping, what the hell.

All "EZ-UP" statements are about the brand "EZ-UP" and not a relative term for all canopies.

our shop bought Impact and they've held up for 5-6 years so far. Awesome product, I think they build the Alias ones too

I am going to reach out to impact.

Does anyone else have any suggestions on canopies that heavy duty, commercial or industrial grade? Or have one that they are looking to sell?

I too have one of the $60 canopies from Wal-Mart and it works out great for me. Get some new spikes though as the ones that come with it are garbage. I generally connect it to my tailgate or gallon of gas so it doesn't fly away.

The best canopy is the one that Alias makes. Well, they don't make it. someone makes it for them, and whoever it is that produces those with that design is the best. The legs are a 6 sided design. Very robust. I'm not suggesting you buy the Alias (it's a bit over priced), I'm suggesting you find out who makes it, and go directly to them. someone on here will know what im talking about.

Buy a nice one and buy it once. Buy some good stakes from a camping store and take care of it and it will last forever.

I purchased the "Quik Shade" brand. Simply for the reason it was rated the easiest for one person to assemble from all the brands. Do not get me wrong it isn't put together like the "EZ UP" brand but I was suprised by the quality and yes it is simply to put up/take down by yourself.

I always find stability to be a problem with all of them. EZ UP is pretty good though, just gotta make sure you batton down the hatches so it doesn't go Mary Poppins on you.

"Undercover" brand professional-grade is good stuff, but a bit heavy even if aluminum framed... 10'x10' is around 60 pounds, IIRC. I have two, tough as nails. Great roller cases as well.

They have survived at least 10 trips between Budds and High Point ...

I'm going on my 3rd year with the same $60 harbor freight pop up and haven't had any issues with it

Costco. Middle ground between Walmart and genuine ezup maybe?

Bought one 15 or more years ago and still works. They changed a little last year to be 12x12 I think (still a 10x10 frame but the overhang is 1’ all around).

Just remember most of these are made for shade. Not hurricanes.

What a I want is a popup lean too so the water don't run in side my trailer

Euromax is what I bought. I was tired of the cheap ass ones always breaking. Strong legs that don’t break when you sneeze and You can buy spare parts for these to if needed. It came with extra misc stuff and the zipper was kinda messed up on bag but still worked and showed them a picture and the sent out a new one free.
Problem with 20x10 is if ground isn’t flat doesn’t sit right so I bought two 10x15 and got there rain gutter that goes between the two. It’s a nice set up that I’ve had for a few years now.

Something to consider with the cheapos, some actually do little to nothing to block UV. You sit under the thing in the shade all day, go home and WTF sunburned! Pay attention to UV rating. Some of the flimsy white ones you can look at and tell they ain't blocking shit. This matters in AZ and other places with strong sun.

I use some cheap $80 one from Academy. Work fine, use it for Moto, BBQ cookoffs and such. For weights I use some Gorilla duct tape 5 gallon buckets to the legs and fill them with water.

If it shits the bed, I got $80 out of it.

I bought an ABC canopies kingkong tent. Pretty inexpensive and has held up well.

I've owned the $200 ones and the $80 ones. And I've learned a lesson the hard way. The wind doesn't care how much it cost. Buy an inexpensive one and anchor it down properly and it will work just fine.

Do yourself a favor and do a ezup. I had a basic ez up 10x10 last year that i upgraded (dome top that was around 15 years old) and went to two higher end 10x10s that attach together. All the other bands seem like junk. They do make excellent kites though.
