Maybe part of the problem is unrealistic expectations. You are saying you fell in the second corner after the start, and you blame flaggers because you got run over. Really? Lights wouldn't have made a difference. In helmet warning system would probably not have made a difference. and yet some flagger standing on the side of the track waving a yellow flag would miraculously have kept you safe in the middle of the pack? I promoted races for 20 years. over 400 race events and about the same for organized practice days, so I can say this with some experience...

110% he pulls me for sound often, and last year the only race I was leading (lcq detroit) he called the red flag at half way for a gate malfunction. I always hear that I get this special ama support, but honestly my dad makes it harder on me cause I am his kid. my mom also works staging, for ama. It’s nice to have family at the races, but I don’t get much support. I only really speak to them, on Fridays.

Im not 100% sure the frame upper shock mount is the same but im pretty sure it is. If so you could do it with a swingarm, linkage, shock. Highly doubt it would be worth it unless you are racing motocross, the PDS actually works really well but everyone on the internet says it sucks because they knew a guy who hated it on their 2002 KTM SX.

Will always be Scott Plessinger for me. In the late 80's into the 90's, he was one of the few riders who kept Scott Summers honest. I believe he won two GNCC titles and two National Hare Scramble titles back then on KTM. We had a small KTM dealership in my town in the late 80's and 90's where I spent a lot of time as a kid. My dad bought my first bike there, a 1991 KTM 80. Been hooked ever since!

Robby Neeley rode KTM for quite a few years. If you dont know who he is, look him up. A legend in motorsports.

Not speaking for GNCC but in the Florida Trail Riders we have a dedicated team with a safety UTV with all the equipment to handle on trail emergencies. In addition to the UTV the team is full of fast and skilled riders who can get to you anywhere on the course in minutes if not seconds. As someone who has used their services it is a very comforting feeling knowing you have guys coming to your rescue whose day job is being a life flight EMT. The promoting club supplies all the safety team with maps for their front fenders...
