Nope, man I could write an entire editorial on why I'm not racing indoors anymore and the massive inner conflict I've had to manage on being off the bike this winter. But I can sum it up shortly. Even with my good results, earning number 7, and the cash winnings.. I was scared. Too much on the line outside of the track boundaries to be willing to send it after the gate dropped. After talking to Burkeen and Cotter, they mentioned they have no intention of wanting the price raised. I hope it doesn't get raised, it needs to stay accessible and keep these am teams in check.

So it seems like everyone is calling everyone else a liar, which is to be expected, but I picked up on a few subtle things during the interviews. Donnie from Yamaha said that in the room everyone got a little heated and there was a lot of emotion.. That sounds like a nice way of saying people were arguing and yelling. Matt walker said he was trying to advise Brennan of what he thought was was in his best interests, yet was already in the room with Deegan etc before the “meeting” Walker basically denies everything and passes the blame...

Mike the new path for pro racers is to never race. Which is great, because your guys and my guys can make a living doing local races and AX, while the children are struggling with setup. I wonder if the show is over and this is the permanent thing now? Kids (and their parents) chasing clout at the training facility over learning how to actually race..

Right after the first untimed practice, many riders told me the track was very tricky. I thought that was strange because it looked very basic from the stands. Crazy that it turned out that way in the end. World SX: Several riders telling me they are keeping an eye on it and would like to do it. One smaller team said they already signed up for it and talking to riders for it as well with some surprising names on the list. One big name rider said he got a world sx offer from a team of a different brand...
