- savatgy signs another year for kawi.

- Seeley retires.

The big questions are,
- Does JGR shut shop as they have mentioned there struggling.
- If JGR stays, who gets that suzuki ride?
- What happens with Osbourne and Wilson. Who gets that 2nd factory bike?
- What 250 riders are going on a 450 next year?
- Where do riders such as Shane Mcelrath land next year on a 450?
Everything you said except:

- Seely to MCR
- JGR do continue with Reed and Wilson, which leaves Osborne on the Husky.

A lot of nonsense in this thread. A couple rough races for the 3 and 94 and all of a sudden they're both shipping out and moving teams.

I get the feeling that Tomac is over it at Kawi. The races where he faded badly this year, it seems like he just said screw it. He's only been fast this year when he's super comfortable, like he's not locked in for next year and he doesn't want to risk anything.

Hypothetically, I can see Baker salivating over the chance to "fix" Tomac. But that would most plausibly be as a replacement for Osborne on RSHusqvarna, not Musquin, who is riding better than Tomac overall this season.
Baker fixing Eli is not happening

If JGR is still around next year I would not give Deano that ride. Last year while testing which bike he was going to race as a privateer, he didn't even give a try to the RMZ... Why give a guy who clearly doesn't believe in that product a chance and the resources to use that platform?

KR needs to get of that Honda asap.
Back to any steelframed bike, Factory Husky or ”Rocky Mountain” KTM. Maybe JGR Zook.

Aahh, wrong energy drink... ?

Not sure what will change after Williamson left, but it doesn’t sound like things were “all good” over there. If things don’t turn around for Eli on the Kawi, do not be suprised if he ends up on the Honda for 2020.

Ride RED, ....just sayin’ !!

Kawasaki got rid of RC for JS and JS for RV. I think AC is next in line unless he chooses to go to Honda. If Honda doesn’t keep Kenny I don’t see him going. I think AC holds the cards not Eli. If AC goes to a Kawi 450 and Kenny stays with Honda then where does Eli go? Maybe Honda decides to challenge KTM and hires 2 Alphas. They would be fast as shit if they rode together. I don’t think it will happen. I bet he goes to Yamaha.

Haven't think about that, but from what I saw on his vlog, he basically went to a dealer and grab the bikes he wanted to test, on the video it seems that he did not get support from any OEM, and the fact that he didn't even wanted to try the zook is very telling, at least in my eyes.

^^^This right here. I ll add a little flavor ...

Reed and Deano at JGR. They could probably get the pair for what they got in Hill?

McElrath to RM ATV MC with Baggett

Hill to MCR? Incentive based contracts and no outdoors, sounds right up his alley

Could Deano bring Rockstar to JGR?

JGR needs a title sponsor ... heck Monster backs Kawi and Yamaha, why can’t rockstar back two teams?

Marvin will somehow have this SX championship fall into his lap. He completes outdoors and retires. Ken fills the hole at KTM and Eli goes to Honda.
Simple and stamp it.

I'm not saying he is going to Honda, but Honda is going after two riders, and he is one.

Maybe the dealer didn't have Suzuki's?

Would love to see Wilson going to JGR. He has good sponsors with ignite, rockstar and that grass company. The team gives the opportunity to ride with his own gear deal and stuff. So he could keep Astars and O'neall

The best bike for Tomac is the HVA imo. Stable bike, that's what Eli need.
3/20/2019 2:11am
Tomac back to Honda with another rider after missing out on AC
Roczen to JGR with Reed
AC to the Kawie team with Savatgy

Is anyone considering retiring after 2019? I haven't heard any rumors.

Who is going to be left without a seat when the music stops?

I think MCR will be loyal to Freise and Brayton. I also believe they will bring Mookie back. That locks up all of their seats.

I don't see Kawi wanting to let Tomac go after winning two outdoor titles, but I guess he may leave on his own. No way he goes to Aldon. He likes to train back home in CO.

Also if tomac makes the switch to one of the Austrian brands that means his father gets boxed out of his program.
So i don´t see this happen.

Also Roczen to KTM (with Webb) is more than unlikely cause than they have to go the MXGP way and let them pit out of 2 diffrent rigs.

I’d say...just for funzies...since I don’t know who will be free & who is not...or anything else.

Tomac to Honda...to build a mini-replica of the 80’s Glory Team with Roczen staying put.
JS17 & AC for Kawasaki...rebuilding with two young guns.
KTM will stay with Webb & Musquin...with Musquin signing a multi-year deal.
Yamaha will stay with Justin Barcia...and add Osborne.
Anderson is set with Husqvarna...and will sign Wilson full-time.
Cole Seely will retire, as will Justin Hill & Weston Peick...and Chad Reed.
JGR will close shop.
There will be another major sub-team, a la RCH to handle the Factory Suzuki effort for 2020.

I'll correct a few based on current contracts.

Yamaha is set with Barcia and Plessinger for 2020, both are already under contract.

KTM has Webb for '20 but Musquin needs to re-sign.

Husqvarna is already set for '20 with Anderson and Osborne. Osborne will end his SX and MX career with Husky, mark my words.

JGR will go racing in 2020 with Suzuki...after that though, I'm not sure.

Here's my speculation:
Brayton retires and Cole Seely gets his spot at MCR with some financial support from Honda, like Brayton's current deal. This keeps Cole in the Honda family and gives them access to him as a "fill-in" for outdoors if needed.

HRC Honda gives K-Roc a pay cut but re-signs him for two years. They either add AC or ET onboard depending on negotiations.

KTM gives Marvin a one year deal...

JGR and Reed give it another go, the second spot either goes to Wilson or Savatgy

Kawasaki loses Tomac to Honda, uses the budget to up Savatgy's contract and sign him for two years, then signs AC for two years. Or, Kawasaki retains Tomac and either Savatgy or AC are his teammate depending on other factors.

MCR: Friese, Stewart, Seely
