Math was never my strong suit, but I'm pretty sure he's sitting fourth in points, and he's only six points out of third. Webb is the only guy who's been more consistent than him, and you think "he's a 5th - 10th place guy"? I hope you're not a meteorologist, because you're not very good at predicting things.

huge roczen fan but he needs to get a win soon, with the younger guys all coming in and getting comfortable on the 450 its only gonna get harder. It seams like roczen, tomac, and mooscan is at there ceiling speed wide and the next group of guys is gonna start rising higher and faster

The problem is we really have no media. Mainstream sports have loads of people that make a great living talking about sports and sports figures. Lots of insider info about injuries, trades, team issues. Moto has nothing even close. Matthes has probably the biggest podcast and he has 0 inside info, and what he knows he rarely spills the beans.

The teams and riders are super secretive about riders health, team issues and bike issues. The sport would benefit from teams giving more info. It would keep people interested all week long talking about actual issues instead of making up another Stew or Herlings thread.

No, every major rider is on a team, they have a team mate and team members that add or subtract from each weeks performance. Yes riders perform on their own during a race so I will give you that. The Team dynamic has so much to do with how that rider performs I don’t think of it as a completely individual sport like track and field or boxing.

MotoGP is way more open and that is an "individual" sport (also way, way bigger than SX or MX in every single area). The riders in MotoGP can stand in front of a camera/journalist and explain what they need to work on and what their weaknesses are.

In our sport, even a clicker change is top secret to these riders and teams. It's a joke.

Dumbest post ever. How many podiums has he had this year ? 5 that’s a lot for a 5th 10th guy. And as far as PTSD. You do not have to be in a war to suffer from ptsd I am certain that ken is struggling with post traumatic stress from breaking his arm so bad he nearly had to have it amputated

I think there is multiple things that has piled on and been the reason for his current form.

1. He hasn't made it this far in 2 years.
2. Blake got hurt, that has to be horrible for everyone involved.
3. His starts are gone. He was the best starter early on in the season.
4. The other riders are better and healthier compared to the first few weeks.
5. The late defeats to Webb has to had an impact on his confidence.

He's realistically out of the championship now, he needs to just work on building his stamina and mental toughness. He'll be fine...give him time. Dude's comeback is more than anyone expected already, he's a warrior.

I think he is over it mentally right now for all the reasons already mentioned. He is too talented to ride around in 8th place.

If he can't find the right spirit again I really hope he quits before he gets another injury. I think racing can be even more dangerous when you're not fully into it.

Hopefully he can bounce back next week already with a good result, but I doubt it even though I am a fan.

I was going to say, for all we know he may have been sick. I'm sure this thread will resurface when Kenny wins one. He works his ass off and he's come way too far not to win again.
