Could have easily been Cooper instead if Kenny down in the main. How would the points look had that of happened. 7 races is a lot of racing left none of the top 4 are out of it yet.

This win means very little in the grand scheme of things. Tomac was the heavy favorite and he got a good start (almost impossible to get a bad start on that start staight if you qualified good). Anything else than a Tomac win would've been a surprise.

Like some guys above already wrote, it wouldn't surprise me if Webb puts more points on Tomac next week.

Roczen probably just threw away his chances last night. Or Reed did it for him.
With Tomac it's a different story, he can go out and win 5 nights in a row if he's comfortable. But Kenny kind of banked on his consistency and getting constant podiums. That won't be enough anymore.
He has to find another gear and win several races now. Same for Musquin

tomac still not that great at managing a race. Goes full 110% the whole race. Leaves himself open to a catastrophe. Decoster is good at picking riders and mentoring them on how to manage a race and a series. This should be good for 10+ thumbs down.

Well yea you're going to get down voted if you spew bullshit. Tomac managed the race pretty damn well to me, extended his lead by a bit every lap and based on the way he was riding at the beginning of the race it seemed like he had an extra gear had he needed it.

I'm a Dungey fan but he was never brilliant at Daytona and he had to race RV there.
