Full spinal immobilization/spine board protocols have changed. And the stadium floor is such a dynamic scene, many protocols become suggestions rather than hard rules anyway. There are medics, orthopedic surgeons and ER trauma docs making the initial assessment on the floor... they know what they’re doing.
