What can be done to make the telecast better?
Start the mains 5-10 minutes earlier, so they can replay the start, and other highlights of the race, AFTER the race is over.
Mainly stick with the front runners, only switching to others if the dudes in front are spaced out.
Announcers should talk about what is currently going on on the track, not some side story.
Other suggestions?

I dont want to cut to anything during the race unless its a replay. For example, the kenny crash footage. Do not want to see that while racing is happening.
Ralph is the one who is really not on point this year. It's like he just shows up and wings it. He never seems to know what's going on, but RC is growing on me.

But,whatever, keep complaining, maybe it will get bounced to the velocity network where it fades away like the sunset
2. Don’t go to commercial until you’ve shown me the top 9 advancing out of the heat
3. Don’t end the 3 hour telecast without telling me who won the damn race
4. More Daniel Blair
Quit treating the viewers like we've never watched the sport. Speak to us on our level. I'm a fan of many different sports, and I can't think of another sport that does this.
Kill the social media thing, it's cringe-worthy.
It's 2019, there HAS to be technology available for live-feed on-board footage. ESPN was doing this 15 years ago when they had SX. Not a huge thing, but it would be pretty cool. Can you imagine if we had the Cooper Webb Tuff Block incident available to see during the race?
Get a roundtable of ex-pros in a studio (could be in California) and cut to them a few times per evening. Think about the talent pool of guys around California that could do a studio appearance. 'Fro, GL, Ping, McGrath, RV, maybe even DV. Just have a host and 2-3 of them, and go to them after the heats and again after the LCQs. They can provide analysis and speculation. Gives the viewers a break from Ralph and Ricky, and maybe even gives them a bit more time to do some research for the main events.
Larry "Supermouth" Huffman to the white courtesy phone.

On a side note, my friend Charlie Richardson mentioned you when I talked with him a couple weeks ago. I talked him into racing the calvmx/ahrma national, so he brought out his 125 CZ.

Scrap the “dumb down everything” mentality and present it as the professional sport it is. Get rid of the “here’s a picture of us watching tv!” Instagram segment, too. Allowing fans to engage is cool and all but think of a better angle, maybe have them tweet questions or comments that can be addressed in the round table discussion in between races.
Shit, Matthes can do a 5 hour show breaking down the weekends race with one cohost. Get a few people together and have them guess what’ll happen later on, breakdown the heats, basically talk about the event that is going on for a few minutes in between the races.
