Why does everyone think the AMA or Feld or FIM or whoever have something against riders?
They arent going to break laws for some rider.
This CBD is such a grey area i cant say i blame Feld on this one , even though its a bummer , i think Reed and Deano and anyone else could use some social media anddo some creative ideas to still benefit the sponsors without having a logo on the bike or themselves though!
To strictly not allow them to have sponsorship is straight up bullshit if you ask me.
I read it.
It doesn't say they can't have the sponsor.
Pit Row
It just seems like the typical left censorship of anything that offends, which is a dangerously stupid compass to live by. Bad things aren't bad to talk about, in fact, discussion of anything controversial only leads to better understanding of potential pitfalls... whether that's politics, substances, standpoints or events.
I can at least understand the negative association with Dean’s sponsor given they flat out sell Weed but even without full legal indemnity surely no-one thinks cbd is bad? Alcohol still sponsors sports and everyone knows how bad that is for people.
As for refugees... I don’t have anything nice to say here so I won’t. It’s bad all around.
What it actually does is get rid of the craving to smoke. The cravings to smoke start as soon as you put out a fag. Cravings make you irritable and stressed. The thing you say makes you calm is actually the thing that is making you angry.
I guess it’s true what they say though, nothing worse that an ex-smoker.

Interesting gear/clothing/etc the riders wear ...none of that was made irresponsibly (ie. sweatshop) I hope? Wouldn't want to promote something like that, very disturbing
Supercross itself is in all likelihood responsible for more ill health/injuries than CBD products (or THC for that matter). Should we really be televising something that can cause serious injury and distress?
I have no idea if Feld/AMA are just using a convenient excuse to deny CBD sponsorship or if they have been told by counsel that allowing a rider to publicly use the broadcast platform to endorse/promote a product that isn't totally "legal". That's why I wanted to hear from DC. This will be an issue for MX soon so whichever direction he goes will probably answer the question about Felds motives.
Personally, I don't give two shits about pot or CBD. If I needed it I'd have a different opinion. Also, I'm so old and cynical that advertising/endorsements are my key to avoid products/services.
