I don't really think that is justification. If it means qualifies 14th in stead of 8th that's fine. But to not qualify is very poor . In the Same session he was out qualified by alves by 5 seconds. He was 1 second faster the Stank on a 125. 1st lap of the 2nd session. So the track is pretty much the same. Oldenburg went 5 seconds fast and then jett went 9 seconds faster then vohland on his 1st lap.

When AJ Catanzaro is on a 125 and beating you on a factory KTM, there’s something wrong.

As someone said before, Factories expect you be in the top 20 even if its your rookie year. Thomas Covington comes to mind as the most recent factoty rider no making mains, and we know how that one ended.

This is also his second year. So even if they hadn’t pushed him ahead a year he’d be a rookie this year. Rookies on factory equipment should be expected to make the top 20.

I think at this point something needs to be done about the owners or managers of RMATVMC at the criminal level. These kinds of scum don't need to be in our sport.

Well we were super excited to see the new bikes when they showed up on the dealer floor...no internet then ,so you had no idea till you saw one in person...It was common for there to be great technological leaps from year to year...all new from the ground up and then all new again the following year. When you saw that all new bike, you fell out of love with your old one pretty quick.
