"Follow the money", is often the phrase used when financial concerns are at stake, and aptly applies here. It blows that it always the riders that are getting screwed, first and last. If nothing else, there's has to be some kind of claw-back protection for the riders. As it seems these team collapses are slow-rolled shit-show allowing time for investor bail, but no one else.

It's unfortunate that the riders can't be covered under the Feld Ent. umbrella. Or develop some kind of surety bond against Feld Ent. for payment. And let F.E. chase down the money owed. Feld Ent. is the business, and the riders are the product. I know it's a pipe-dream, just thought it was an interesting way to look at it.

I think at this point something needs to be done about the owners or managers of RMATVMC at the criminal level. These kinds of scum don't need to be in our sport.

I just find it disappointing that with everything motorcycle booming the last few years, Mx/Sx teams and overall support seem to be on the decline…. This is an isolated incident but it appears there is a shift away from supporting racing in general…

They are just the sponsor, they do not run the team or pay the riders. BBMX breached the sponsorship contract they had with RMATVMX and the sponsorship was voided. You are barking up the wrong tree

(EDIT: My bad, I put it in quotes somewhere else. This one I listed him as partner who wasn't a partner because everyone was saying he was a partner until last week.)

I'm talking about the guy who won't let Butler on the 83 Compound and who didn't let team personnel on the property to get their belongings.

I'm gonna guess when you say "RMATVMC" that you mean Butler Brother MX i.e. Forrest Butler?

I have not seen anywhere that RMATVMC has done any wrong as a company?

I don't know how or if they papered his investment, but I'm sure he is claiming an interest in the assets of the company as collateral or otherwise. An investment without a vehicle to recover your investment is just a gift.

TBH, sponsors exiting on a breach that we don't know so far is not looking that great either. Maybe 2 bikes needed to be on the track and some injuries happened. If so, that sucks actually for the team owner(s?) too. We heard quite a few things about Forest and yes it was not looking always perfect but I would not throw him and a quite a succesful team under the bus either, there are always multiple sides of the story and multiple factors.
