He may have not ridden, but one thing I can tell you is that his autograph line was the longest of anybody’s other than the Redbull KTM truck throughout the entire event. Also, at one point I overheard two girls talking about getting their tits signed by him, and he told them they “just got mac’d”.

Ron is a man of the people.

This place could do without the negative "my buddy" comments. Just stop, unless you are personally willing to put your name on it, just stop.

Wrong. AMA Pro Racing wouldn’t issue a pro racing license to a persona.

For that matter, if he did withdraw from competition just because of a few complaints, wouldn’t that make him a crybaby as well?

Not true, but feel free to speculate.

The only proof you should need that his bit still has legs is the number of posts in this thread. Personally I think it's funny. He needs a sidekick.

My favorite video of his was an old one where he was gooning with other riders on the track and was just blowing their doors off. I can't find it though. Sad

Hes doing a lot more than you are. How does leaving degrading forum comments grow the sport? Jimmy provides loads of PR for any event with ron. If you cant see that theres obviously no helping you.

Jimmy was fuckin' hammered, either that or he has the world's best drunk impersonation. Who are we to judge though, gotta drown those sorrows. https://youtu.be/fRgWBN8yt_E?ecver=2" width="480"...

Worlds best drunk impersonation? Foster Brooks has it down pretty good. Either way there's nothing wrong with the Ronnie Mac persona and it was a shame he didn't race. RBSR and the like are the perfect place for an act like Ronnie.

But some will want to have a cry about it because, well, they're just delicate little flowers and Ronnie Mac offends their sensibility.

He kinda does. Jimmy McGarth and Larry Enticer

I liked the Jimmy McGarth character better than Ronnie Mac tbh

if he wants to continue Ronnie Mac and make videos and stroll around in the pits doing his thing, knock yourself out. However, he shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a track full of professionals having a great time racing as it completely dumbs down the entire event and adds to the whole Monster Truck atmosphere that we continually bitch about on here.

I don’t think it has anything to do with people being “delicate little flowers” or their sensibility, the character just isn’t funny anymore. When the humor is gone, what are we left with?

Apparently Jimmy was going to legally change his name to Ronnie Mac. So the AMA wouldn't have to give a license to a persona. Who knows if that is true but I believe it was said on the PulpMX show.
