Just thought some would like the Made in the USA option.

Strikt gear is made in Golden BC.

I have that gear. It’s slim fit, with some stretch to it. I think it’s really comfortable and looks great.

Not sure about complete gear sets but Canvas MX jerseys are made in L.A. according to their website. Nothing mentioned about the pants.

On the previous page Tonynz said the last Fasthouse jersey he bought was made in the US.

There's also WRDT brand which stands for We Ride Dirt. It was started by a French guy in 2017 after he had a battle with Cancer. When I found it the site said California but he's going back or is back in France. Not exactly sure where it's made. Sent them a message to find out.

Also, for you Australians I found a gear brand that I believe is completely made down under. Sixty7 Racewear. They offer custom gear.

I like the non flashier stuff. FXR, some Fly, Oneal, that WRDT stuff above. The sixty 7 stuff looks good.

Stuff that looks designed by a guy would wouldnt use the term colorways.

Not US made but Kang Racewear is out of Mexico. Designed and manufactured in Guadalajara, Mexico. Been in business since 2000. They also do custom gear. Check their website they have a lot of designs/colors to choose from.

Instagram

They made the gear for Team Mexico for this year's MXdN.

More of their stuff.

Why do you hate America?
Whoever put that FXR deal together for you is probably Un-American, too.
Oh, wait.
Never-mind!

Wonder if there is any relationship to Gear Racewear? They were a PA company as well. Although if I'm not mistaken, the old Gear Racewear is who does the shirts for the nationals (old Dirt Shirts). Could be mistaken though.

I think there was another company called TNT from around there as well back in the day... I had a couple of TNT jerseys in the late 80's.

There's a dealer in El Cajon (Vey's Powersports) that carries it according to the website. Not sure how far that is from where you're located but you might want to give them a call.

Or send FXR an email and let them know you're interested in purchasing a set of gear but would first like to try it out. Let them know where you're located and ask them where the nearest dealer to your location is. They'll be able to point you in the right direction.

You can always order it online directly from FXR but obviously you won't know how it fits until it shows up.

How do the sizes run compared to other brands you have worn?

Made 40 minutes from my house, Kawasaki green colors, side pockets for my phone during business hours while riding my Alta. I like everything but the price. I bought some MSR closeout gear a while ago $13 for the Jersey, and $40 for pants. Not the best stuff, but cheap enough to make me happy.

Answer
Is it actual kiwi green or that acid yellow that construction workers wear? Because that florescent yellow is called green by pretty much everybody today. If the Answer stuff is actual Kawasaki green I'm up for a set.

I always admired US guys for supporting any brand that is US based and taking it into consideration when shopping. That is pretty rad.
...Just a random thought.

I'm not sure to be honest. Tried looking for a pic of someone wearing it on a Kawasaki but no luck.

It looks pretty bright but could be photo editing. The 2nd set looks more green next to the bright yellow TLD helmet compared to the top pic. Still looks bright.

Thanks Bro? That comment is much appreciated. Too bad more don't backup what they say with their wallets.
If the owner(s) of AM gear read this, I would like to suggest losing the cuff at the bottom of the pants, never liked that feature as they are hard to remove after a grueling ride. And does anyone know if the pants have a full liner? Whomever came up with the half length liner idea needs fired- hate those things with a passion.

Hello everyone, my name is Russell Lineman. A friend just told me he saw this thread last night so thanks for whoever shared this and all the positive comments. We are vendors at RedBud MXoN so please stop by if you are going, we will have a changing room setup in our tent to try on the gear which is the best way to see just how good it is. I just read through everything and wanted to help answer some questions as well as give you a little info about the gear! I will try to check back here to answer other questions from the thread or you can contact me through our website https://www.ammotocross.com

For the main questions/ concerns I saw:

- Regrading the design (looks) of the gear, we kept it pretty simple for our initial release because we were much more focused on the technical details rather than looks. If you check out our Facebook or Instagram though you can see riding photos and the simple style looks really good on the track. But not to worry if the simple designs aren't your style, we have some really cool colors and styles for both the pants and jerseys coming out before the end of this year.

- Our mesh jersey is super lightweight, like a retro jersey almost. It is very good quality for a mesh fabric but it is not nearly as comfortable or durable as our Pro or Speedy jersey. That's why we have 3 different jersey fabrics and fits, something for everyone. Talk to us about the fit and fabric that is best for your needs.

- These pants have no-liner in them which was not to cut cost but to eliminate those annoying snags that catch on your knee braces or feet when taking off your gear. We actually had to really clean up the sewing to go with no liner but it turned out great.

- Someone mentioned that they don't like tight ankle cuffs, they should be ok because I don't like tight ankle cuffs either!! This ankle cuff is longer, stretchy and tapered to keep your pant secure inside your boot without feeling tight.

- Don't confuse looking basic for looking cheap... moto gear has gotten way too complicated in recent years and we basically trimmed the fat and kept the lean parts you need for a high quality pant. This makes our gear super lightweight too. The fabrics used on our products are very high end and the performance/ fit is hard to beat.

- Someone mentioned Gear Racewear, we actually hired them to screen print the jerseys and our casual shirts. It's a small world!

- Gloves will also be coming soon, we have a final sample complete but we literally had to buy specialized glove equipment from China and setup here to sew them in the USA because no one else is doing it. That has taken a while to get that started but it is all part of the process making every single product in the USA!

Thanks for talking about our gear and spreading the word! It would be awesome to see AM Motocross sales grow and let us create more skilled labor jobs here in our local area. We have already been really happy with our initial sales and that's why we have just started production on our 2nd release! Talking about the gear on forums like this or bench racing at the track is a huge help!

- Russell Lineman
