I had a pretty sweet SX track at my old place. Just get ready for some serious time on maintenance. Fixing jumps after rain and keeping it mowed where time consuming.

And that’s the reason I flattened mine out a few years ago. It’s way to much trouble.

I'll sound like more of a prick than I mean to, but in my mind there's a difference between a 'yard track' and a property track. Building something on several acres has a different set of challenges than building something in small yard with neighbors.

Of course I admire anybody who does either because it's a lot of work. And, if you live in a neighborhood you need some creativity or strong relationship with your neighbors.

Saw your videos and tried to mimic some of what you did with my last track and failed…yours flows so well…perfect sizing and placement. Not easy.

If I lived in a neighborhood or development with a small chunk of backyard I would be building a one. Electric bike purchase too. There was an electric bike out at Airway MX today. Not sure what class he rode?

This is before we fired it back up again. My dad built the track in about 1999 and we kept up with it and practiced on it up too about 2008. I just got back into bikes about a year and a half ago and rebuilt it all again. We've got tractors and have access to skidsteers at about any time through work to bring home so makes it alot nicer.

I dont have any better pictures of the track I've got a few videos but can't figure out how to post them. But its alot of work and can be a pain but it's honestly so nice to go out to the garage and take off and go ride. Hellsight better than going and paying $20-25 just to practice for a day. Not including fuel and drive time. That and I can ride at least 2-3hrs a day depending on work and weather. Definately helps you improve on riding and seat time.

Yep, Portage Michigan. I am from Battle Creek, but grew up riding here. Made the video a year or two ago. He only runs once a year nowadays, and this year is looking like it may be the last time Sad All good things come to an end, but the memories remain haha

Drooling at some of these!! I am landlocked at my current house, my parents own about 3 acres of property. 2 of which is wooded and they gave us free reign on to make a mini track. My brother and I rented a skid steer and used it for 15 hours. The track is far from any of these but we have hours of fun out there.

My parents recently replaced a pool. We had the pool company dump all of the old sand back in a pile. So far we have two scoops of sand in this turn. Adds a whole new element.
