You know I have been that person that felt for Nico, probably more than once. But I am an addict, I've broken my back twice and the pills took over from there. But I knew I had a problem, I got help and yes it's a fukn daily battle at times. What I don't do nor did I ever do was steal, I did ruin many friendships and I've done my best to earn trust again learn from my mistakes. I think what happened to Nico is the same thing that happened to me, he had a severe injury, his doctors gave him 200 pills a month and then stopped the scripts. I just don't want to see another motocross in the damn obituaries just like we're seeing with Tyler Evans.

some people are deviants too, this guy is well aware of what he is and accepts it,Has had many people go to bat for him and this is the way he repays them. You reap what you sow. Some time being a maytag just might be the thing to change him.

They eventually get worn down too, or just quit responding to save face.

Eventually he is going to screw with the wrong person.

I always get a kick when people call Stroupe, Izzi, Jason Lawrence, kids. Surely by now they are all 27/28/29 years old?

Hope this puts him in his place and when he is released he can just live a normal life.

English bulldogs actually do get stolen fairly frequently. Junkies know that they are worth a lot and a dog is easy to sell without papers. My brother caught a tweeker once trying to lure his bulldog into his van.

It was a dog that belonged to the woman whose family he helped ripped apart last year.

Wow, looking at that looks like he violated a stay away order 11 times on top of it all. Either he’s convinced laws don’t apply to him or just plain psycho.

I used it as a general term. Not that I think he's still a kid. Although his decisions are pretty childish.

First off, I feel bad for the people who got robbed, and whatever bad shit Nico did to them. Hope they're ok.

I've had a close friend do things a lot worse when he was caught in the grip of heroin addiction. I've also had that same friend get clean, start a family, work his butt off in construction and prosper. Addiction is insanity.

I feel bad for Nico's family, especially his daughter. It's absolutely up to Nico to realize he is the owner of this problem, and address it accordingly. When and if he decides to address his addiction is solely up to him. It's scary for a family to watch how far he is willing to let the addiction push him through trap door after trap door until he reaches his true rock bottom.

I'll pray for every addict out there struggling, and wish them well.

That piece of shit stole a families dog? He deserves the worst death possible for that alone. Wish the worst for him. The dog has contributed more to society than that loser did his entire life.

Addiction is 100% a personal choice. Anyone who feels different are just as weak as that piece of shit. Life is supposed to suck. Work 7 12hr days a week just to stay alive and live broke. Pain is a big part of life for everyone. Embrace it don't try to mask it. Why is this so hard for dumb asses like him to grasp?

Frank I don't usually go off on these things but you couldn't be more fukn wrong about it being 100% a choice. If you truly believe that then I feel sorry for your ass. some of what you said is true but to wish harm like that and make a black and white statement especially if you've not lived it then don't comment man.

Thanks for feeling sorry for me because I don't. Been an addict for 20 years and yep its 100% my choice if I decide to jam drugs into my body each day no matter how much life sucks. Who the fucks other choice would it be?

What is up with this dude? Wow. Ending up in prison seems like a foregone conclusion. Not that I wish that on anybody.

Frank....did you ever get injured and have to take pain medication, I mean seriously have to take the shit. I did, I didn't ask to be an addict. But after 2 unsuccessful back surgeries and taking the shit for two years I was an addict my friend. When I finally got the correct surgery it was too late. I'm not naïve enough to believe that everyone's case is just like mine, but it's not 100% black and white my friend.

Yeah but this isn't the 40's where people still think smoking is ok for you. Everyone knows that if it gets you high, it's probably addictive and probably not good for you. Getting hooked on drugs has been beyond cliche for at least a couple decades now.

Yes of course. Many times. Spiral fractured femur, sheared off lateral condial, 3 ACLs, pins in both ankles, 3 collar bones, ribs, etc. Pain is a part of life for everyone. I chose to do the activity that got me injured. I chose to take pills to not feel pain. I also chose to stop taking pills and just live with the pain and harden the fuck up. These were all 100% my choice. Just like stealing a family dog was 100% that dirt bags choice. Life is always black and white. Some just chose to think its not because it's easier that way.

I used to take up for guys like Nico, Stroup & some others...mainly because I was addicted to alcohol & cocaine for 25-years and I know a little about the hell of addiction...but screw that. I got clean & sober, and I know LOTS of people who are as well. We all make the choice to live life on life’s shitty terms every day without putting a substance in our bodies. I’ve grown into a successful man, Father & husband. It’s not easy, but it’s better than my life was before.

All that to say...If you WANT TO MORE THAN ANYTHING...you can get clean & sober, and stay that way. If you don’t, you damn sure won’t.

Izzy doesn’t want to bad enough.

When you realize it’s a choice, rehabilitation can truly start.

Nailed it. Because then you can choose to work on your problem.

Ok could you have made it after your surgery without pain medication? I'll agree to disagree with you because I understand what you're saying. We did choose to continue to ride knowing our condition, but I won't live with fear that I may or may not get hurt again. I chose to stop just like you did and then shattered my ankle, I must be a pussy because I relapsed.
