Not a Webb hater, however I think he is probably the most overrated rider in the class (on vital.. so take that for what it’s worth)
Not many dudes have tracked down Herlings and beat them... Or are 250 National/Supercross champs in a single year...

While i dont like webb, i feel like he is supertalented. Still cant see him beating MM, JA, ET, JB, KR rarely if at all. He will be around WP, CS, BB, JH, AP speed. Thats the pay range he should be. How many guys figure out the 450s after 2 years and starting off with injuries. Rarely does a rider shake the injury habit.

How long do you bank on the old days? Recent history not have any value? Clearly KTM is convinced by the former Webb, cant help but think that if his new contract isn't performance based, there is a good chance of seeing the latest Webb.

I think you at least wait until he's completed a couple seasons without a major injury... or on a bike which we can probably all agree on at the very least gives these guys a bit of a hard time.

Two years drama free at KTM and he's in 8th. Ok, he joins the long list of dudes that were better on little bikes, but i'd be willing to be that won't be the case. Watch him ride, kid's talented. And not scared.

I rally think Webb would benefit from a 350, hope he tries it atleast. but if he´s going to Bakers he will be on a 450 i dont think Aldon like his guys on an underpowerd bike to start with.

I dunno if you can do it in the USA. Too many tracks tilled deep as and quite jumpy or stop start, flowy enough. Laptimes sure, but race em?

Batting zero for three with that spot on the team so far. Deano, ( injured) Canard ( injured) Tickle (dismissed) Sooner or later their luck has to turn around. Find out soon enough.

It's Amazing to me in this sport how if some one isnt winning its what's wrong with that guy
Over and over.
Do you Really think anybody in the world is going to go
TOMAC'S speed or damn close right after an injury ?
How quickly every one forgets things too,
Take Webb for example right after Winning one of the 250 championships he did a couple races on the 450,
I forgot exactly what races they were I know one was at glen Helen and he Got 2nd but almost won,
And every won was surprised how well he rode the 450,
I'm pretty sure that short period boosted everyone's expectations and his paycheck come contract time ,
But my point is he can ride a 450 just fine
He has been hurt , would he have won ?
I have no idea I'm not saying he would have won championships on the 450,but definitely that he would have rode better and gotten podiums a lot more often in my opinion.
And that leads me to the other point I was gonna make
Which is there can only be one winner!
So what's wrong with that guy that we here over and over
Is so over used.
Eli Tomac is faster and Stronger and healthy right now
That's what's wrong.
As for Webb I Hope to see him come back strong after a proper off season and hopefully healthy and 100% ready,
I think working with Alden will help
And hopefully he gets well with the KTM.

I don’t know what roger sees in Webb, and I don’t think he has much of an upside to tell you the truth. But that’s why he is called The Man and I’m just some dude in the Army with an opinion.

Time will tell what he can do with him and I truly hope everyone has success, so let’s see what RD sand AB can do with him!

They had to get him cheap is all I can say. He isn’t the type of person DeCoster would normally go for. Webb has had some off the track issues with other riders. He’s not a championship contender. He’s a top ten guy and that’s it. Filling the Tickle role I guess.

I wouldn't think Aldon has much of a say.

Poor Marv is going to be a mess if Webb turns it on and starts beating him. I don't think it will happen, though.

Webb doesn’t like Musquin and has been pretty vocal about it in the past so this move is quite the head scratcher. Like I said before, they must have gotten him cheap.

There’s another rider with “We” in the name that may take that award.

speaking of KTM and Aldon: what 3 450 riders will he train? I heard him say once that 3 is the limit. Right now he has Osborne, Musquin and Anderson. If Webb joins them, will he train 4 450 riders?

Everyone thinks KTM is the bike to take you over the top and make you a winner, look at Bagget he is no better off or faster on the KTM. Webb will still be Webb on a KTM

Not the bike - the complete program, including Aldon. But the bike is pretty damn good. Steel frames win races, unless you're in the 250 class.

What's Tomac running? At this level, it isn't the bike.

Was going to say that I'm pretty sure there is an aluminum frame that's won more races this year, indoors and out.

I will also say that the complete program can be found outside of KTM/Aldon. Tomac seems to be doing just fine without both.

Look for a newer stronger and faster Webb in 2019, this is a great move for him and KTM

Not sure why everyone thinks Webb would be a cheap buy for KTM? He is only 2 years removed from being a 250 champ indoors and out, hes still very young, hes straight up podiumed in Supercross more than once and his points have been right there with riders like Wilson, Peick, Tickle, Brayton, etc.
It is cheap compared to what he was making.

Can't wait to see the BFFs spending 7 days a week together for the whole year.
Should be fun. What could go wrong?

I think this is a good move for Webb. A fresh start might just get his confidence back. Riding with Musquin on a weekly basis is going to show him what kind of speed he needs to run up front. I say if he stays healthy and gives it his all we could see the 16' version of Webb again.

If Webb stays healthy he will kill it on the ktm. I’m so excited for him. People have short term memory. He killed it in 250 class and then had some injuries.
