OK, first off this is my opinion, I should've stated that, this is vital. I have done no scientific research, to my eye, if you lined up #4 vs. #3 and they were the only two on track, I think the four would win eight of ten motos. Or better. But, this is jmo

Again, I'm just talking here, not setting anything in stone, it's just an opinion, what's you're opinion? Tomac takes em all, 5-5 3-7? It's a chat board. Besides, if we went purely by stats or last races Wed have a different mx world right now. BTW, I'm a fan of both, just dig Blake because of his riding style, the kid throws caution to the wind and although that may not be great for injuries it sure is fun to watch. Freestone, this year at lakewood, and many more my old brain can't remember.

Bagget: *starts putting in good supercross results and puts out a cool video about his house*

Vital: "This dude is sick, he's gonna be so good outdoors, I'm on the bandwagon, he really puts in the work, so awesome that he invested in himself, way cooler than Tomac"

Bagget: *makes two mildly cocky comments after a big win*

Totally agree, I dont give a flying fuck what brand he is on, i just enjoy the close battle.

Point in case, I was a massive RD fan (until he retired), despite the fact he raced a brand that isnt my #1 favorite.

It's a two way street here guy, plenty of Baggett fans who act like he's the second coming of god just because they don't like Tomac, which is completely fine they can have their opinion. Just funny how you say there are "Tomac butt touchers" but apparently
everyone talking about Baggett after 2 wins is completely realistic and not biased at all.

I thought it was very clear that there is definitely "butt touchers" for both guys? No?

As am I, the past few years of one guy dominating for the most part hasn't been entertaining but I have been entertained all year, I love the way it's shaped up. And I'm a big fan of the top four guys in points, it couldn't get much better.

The whole thing I was trying to say was that there is very few people who seem to be able to see down the middle of this whole thing (maybe there are a lot and they just don't give a fuck to post on Vital haha) and realize that there are biased fans for both guys.

Yep! I'm torn though. If baggett is behind I want him to catch Tomac and pour it on. But at the same time I'm hoping Tomac responds and beats him for talking. Either way win win for us!

personally, I think there is a big difference between crashing in turn 1 and crashing midway through lap 1 and going to the back.

Crash in turn one you can still pass 5-10 guys on the first lap, in most cases. crash midway through lap 1 you may not pass any guys by the end of lap 1.

Very similar to Tomac's ride at High Point, where he got 12th, though Bagget salvaged more points and I think rode better than Tomac at High Point in moto 1.

I would guess there is nothing wrong with Bagget, he looked fine to me and rode well to pass Canard and Craig late in the race.

And like he said at lakewood, or shitty Creek, I forget what race, he's just a kid messing around, he's not serious about any of his comments, he's just poking fun. I hope he's OK because he's the fastest guy in the 450 class right now

Tomac has won 3 of the last 4 motos. So throw that theory out the window

I was going to say the same thing. People were saying BB4 can crash and make it to third, but Eli can only get to 12th. I think the two of them are close in speed. I think Eli may be a in a tad better shape. Seems to not be tired at all after the races. But they are close. Then JA21 & Marvin a close second. Thunder Valley He dropped Tomac like a red headed step child. Will we see that again? I don't think Tomac will let that happen again!

Wouldn't call it a weak field. All the same dudes were racing supercross. Is it weak because dungey is gone? Or Kroc? No. Other than those two it's all the same dudes on the gate that lined up at A1. Explain to me this weak field.

ET fastest lap of the race on his last lap ... let the facts lie where they may.
But BB4 was the only other laying down 2:03's in the first moto

Baggett is the fastest guy on the track when Tomac fails to keep his butt off the dirt...so he's been the fastest several times so far, and probably will be the fastest several times as the series progresses. I like the guy because he forces Tomac to ride 100% for the whole race, not just check out and chill. That makes for good racing, and I'm 110% for that.

That said, hope Blake isn't really injured. I know Anderson can't pull a championship off, and I'd hate this to be a runaway.

Nailed it.

I hope there's nothing wrong with BB4. The racing in the 450 class has been exciting as hell this year. Hell, I hope Anderson and Musquin can get some wins to make it even tighter up there at the top of the standings.

I don't think you'll find many people hoping that Baggett is injured. Do I think the shit talking was way premature? Yup. Do I think it was childish and classless to talk crap about a former trainer and John Tomac? Sure do. Was I ever a Baggett fan? Nope.

Am I glad he's out there keeping things interesting? You betcha.

Weak field? There were 5 different moto winners in the first 3 races. Bagget and Tomac have a slight edge right now , but don't count out guys like Marv , Anderson, Craig , Peick , Barcia , Bogle , Grant , Tickle , ect....from grabbing some moto wins.

The 250 class?....that class has the most depth as far back as I can remember. Literally 10 guys that could win a moto.

Weak field? This has been on awesome season so far......in both classes.

I agree Jeffro, this is a stacked field. It's like everybody stepped up their game this year because of no RD or KR, everybody just wants it that much more. If Anderson doesn't take the rock to the face and cut his eye, he's right there in the points battle with Tomac and Baggett. These guys are ripping.

Yeah I don't get it. I don't think some people realize just how fast guys like Eli , Blake , Marv and Jason are going right now. And what they said on the broadcast was , Peick put in the fastest lap of the race in 4th in that 2nd moto.

Right now , both classes....I have no idea who will win at any certain moto. It's been a long time since we've seen this , and I'm really digging it! Keeps me on the edge of my seat and I love it.

Competitive and strong aren't the same thing. Dean ferris came over and got second in a moto
7/3/2017 9:58am
What's really cool about this year is it's very similar to the racing we had in the 250s in 2012/2013 which IMO were some of the best years as of late. It took a little bit for all these guys to find their stride on a 450 but now that they have it has sure made for some great racing. I want to say it would be even better if Kenny was still out there but I think it'd be another runaway if he was so if there's any positive come from him getting hurt it'd be that we get some incredible racing.
