Is it just me, or did it seem like the wheel change took a really long time?

Can't imagine what he is feeling at the moment. Even though it was out of his control going from red plate to tied for third is a gut punch. Especially, after all he has invested this year for a championship. Hang in there Zach!
not to be a downer but it was kind of in his control. if he would have gotten the holeshot he would have not been in that position to put himself in that crash

Really, Smith cutting across the entire start straight to clean out half the field who got good starts was in his control? His start wasn't bad at all, you just can't plan for an orange torpedo to come out of right field and chop everyone's wheels off.

Right! So until you're #1, you're NOT #1. That's an absolute fact.

No point in feeling down? Dudes been trying for a 250 title since like 06. 3 wins and by far the fastest! Maybe he can still pull it off.

So should they start single file? Maybe let slower guys go first & see how far the faster guys can get through the pack? WTF are you talking about? You ever been in a dirt bike race?

Zach ain't scared. He's been thru all of it during his career here and in Europe.

There's 75(?) Championship Points remaining and he's 10 points out of the lead. This will be pretty damn exciting. If anyone can do it?

Zach can.

Cutting over half way down a start is one thing, but what Smith did was entering the corner and he had a wheel on all but maybe one guy to his inside. What's he supposed to do, yield to traffic to be a nice guy?
3/26/2017 1:40pm
If they didn't have to change his front wheel no doubt he's still the points leader. I guess the good news for Osborne is he's been leaps and bounds better than anyone else so it's still very realistic for him to win this thing, and how much better would it feel to win after having a mechanical take away a bunch of points and the others still can't do anything about it.

I missed the race, can someone post what happened, I'd appreciate it.
Basically, Alix came into the first turn too hot and cleaned some people out in the Main....
After that, it was a GREAT race that went down to the last few corners.
It's worth a watch if you get the chance.

Anyone know what went wrong with the bike? It looks like another bikes (48) rear wheel warped ZachS front wheel when barreling thru as Zach bike fell onto it.

Can you please point out in my post anywhere, or at any point in my posting history, were I have state any of those things? Or did you quote the wrong person because I'm honestly a little confused here.

You are missing the point.

Just because Dungey is in the points lead, doesn't mean he is the fastest dude out there. 7 of the last 8 I think for Tomac.

Thats the point he was trying to make.

Looking at a few past seasons 180 points wins the Championship and Zach still has that number or higher in sight.

I have mixed feeling about Osbourne this season. It is great to see he has some fire and more speed, not so great that he rides like he is in a major state of panic right from the start, and can't seem to pass without slamming. A perfect example of someone else who all of a sudden has consistent speed is Tomac, you don't seem him riding frantic, and he can pass without slamming. For Zach, I am with others that called this karma which is weird because up to this year, he has always been a clean rider.

Question, is it better to win the championship(and be forced to move up to 450's)or stay in the 250 class and have a paycheck? Remember, Mookie wins 250 championship and no ride the next season. Hmmm.

With how frantic he rides lately, I don't know if that conspiracy theory flies. He wants the wins, he wants them too bad.

That's it! It's Smith's fault! He should've let off and let everyone on his inside go first.

I may get crucified for this, but it's a regional title. Sure, it's important, but in the grand scheme of things, I think it's fairly clear that Zach is the guy to beat. Even if he loses the title, I wouldn't think it would make a difference in the 450 ride he'll get next year. I too am bummed for him, but as mentioned, we got 3 rounds left- he can make it up.
I'm sure you are right about his future prospects, but winning the championship is probably worth at least a few hundred thousand dollars.

Zach will take the red plate back in New Jersey, it will be a mud race and his GNCC skills will dominate.
Stamp it!
