2/28/2021 6:16pm As nornevrder said below, dealers just install the front wheel, front fender, footpegs, bars and controls on most full size bikes. I personally work at a local dealer so can attest to this. The tech's will grease the front axle during setup and alot of times we'll remove the rear wheel, grease the axle and then torque the axle nuts...

Pretty sure the set up dept pits the front wheel, fender, handlebars and controls on. Nothing more, nothing less.

With Mammoth happening this past week it reminds me of how incredible it was watching Tomac check out from the Supermini field the one year I raced the event. It was in '07 and it was when he would wear that all white TLD on American Suzuki. I remember watching him land off the finish and rail that big sweeper on a supermini probably 4th gear WFO and won by like 40 seconds (I have a bad memory, maybe exaggerating), but when I watched him that day I knew he would go on to be the dominant champion he has...

Stopped at Las Vegas Exotics to check out the place for a possible birthday gift and was pleased to see Eli Tomac holding it down for the motocross community by throwing down the fastest time of all "Celebrity" racers. A MotoGP racer held 2nd place as well for the 2 wheel community in general.

I do like that Eli put a little extra mustard on that Anderson pass. Like here ya go fuck-o. Interesting that Anderson said a tick off speed wise - probably correct. But that tick for another 15 minutes is the actual issue. Hence it might be better to actually follow the guy and see what he’s doing.

There is perhaps some wisdom in letting someone who is clearly faster by and then using your energy to try copy them to get better rather than week after week, exploding your heart to be a road block and then having nothing for the rest of the moto....

I agree that everybody should fight for position but Webb constantly cross jumping and swerving has got to be pissing other riders off. I'll be very surprised if someone doesn't completely clean him out before the season is over.

The ghost of Mike Williamson is sabotaging the bike pre-race. I heard Guy B got some pictures of levitating T-handles in the kawi pits. Guy had to use a super zoom lens from lot B to get the shots.

They need to get rid of the multiple Anaheim races. Also work on all covered facilities watching supercross racing in the mud is about like watching 50s race and as a fan to sit there in the rain is plain stupid.
