Considering his results, I'm VERY easy.
Much more than his team manager, I'd guess.

Matthes, as usual...
Was right.
This is done and we'll see him all year.

Stoked!

True, but after breaking his back 3 times, just twice last season, should he go all out to join the injured rider list? It has been forever since we know the riders are too excited at the beginning of the season. Each year it is the same, and comes round 12 and the outdoors, only 50-60% of the factory riders are on the gate. To have a 2nd rider that is usually calculated is not a bad idea sometimes to bring the rig to the race.

Now of course I am not excited by the results these first 4 rounds. I also got quite frustrated by his crash at round 2 (a landing that was super technical, on the replay he over shooted the double by something like 10 cm too high), while he was 3rd of his heat. Not excited when he is not moving through the pack in 15th or temptative in the pack at the starts. I just know he is capable to run top 10-12 in the second half of the sx season, top 5 top 7 again comes the summer. Not overwhelming based on the potential and the equipment but not that bad, still better than injured. Now we don't know yet if Wilson comes as a 3rd rider or if CP calls it quit or something like that. As a 3rd rider maybe that would bring back some fire. In all cases, as it is right now, i agree that there is no doubt his ride will be available in 18.

Pourcel is listed

Edit: And so is Roczen lol...
I was told a rumor yesterday that Pourcel may not be heading to Hangtown, but instead racing a different series where Bob and Doug Mckenzie will be drinking beer and calling everyone hosers. I think the Deano deal is to keep two 450's on the team all summer.

Depends on quickly he can readjust from the Yami back th the Husky. I'd like to see him get up there and start challenging for top 5's. I'm surprised Yamaha didn't step up and offer him something concrete to stick with them. I just see him getting better.

And as far as Pourcel, live a day in his life with his health condition and make the determination after that about how much heart and determination he has. Pourcel is one hell of a role model for grit and pushing through when he wasnt supposed to

Especially if he gets to ride it again before race day...

Some will say that sounds crazy; but, confidence is EVERYTHING. Besides, ha can get on plane on Friday and be in Oakland in just over an hour. Yup. Let him ride it again tomorrow and it's ON!

Using iron-on logos, I'd say in a matter of minutes. To get some sweet, sublimated stuff may take a couple weeks?

Someone fill me in here on the Pourcel situation (or drop me a pm if you have to), I was really looking forward to seeing him race this weekend since I figured it was probably the last SX I'd see him at in person. Is he not racing now or what? If so, that's a huge bummer, I love watching him ride and he's easily one of my favorite guys out there.

Yamaha lost out. He will go back to the Husky like a glove.

Better bike, better fit- better results.

pulpmx: Looks that way RT @MateoMcPhail: @pulpmx is 377 out at Husky or adding a third rider? Heard comments as though CP's gone.

So what is the story with CP? Anyone know? Uptite mentioned his sickness and so forth , but something else tells me , something else is up.

I for one am sad if he's done completely with professional SX and MX. I mean I'm happy as hell for Dean , but to see CP just exit out the back door doesn't seem right.

People see him flounder in the back of pack , that are uneducated about this sport , and probably don't know anything about him. CP IS and always WILL BE one of the most talented riders to ever throw a leg over a bike. If it's true that he's done....it is a loss to this sport in the professional ranks.

How many times did he have the fastest qualifying lap in SX last year? That right there , just tells you what he's capable of if he was healthy. Shit this bums me out.

Is it at all weird that he was just on the Factory KTM team where he was let go, and now on the Factory Husky team?

Assuming there is a split i hope its amicable from both sides. I posted in a Mookie thread that he should get Pourcels ride, I meant next year when there is a reshuffle (and alot of factories are already full). Anyway, hope CP isnt done and can find a series he wants to do like endurocross or canadian mx or something. Dude was fun to watch ride for sure.

And congrats to Dean, it sucked hearing his interviews with Matthes and DMXS before the season started where he was pretty much begging for a ride for free.

If its 100% true, then im curious how he would keep oneal as his gear sponsor. He has it listed in the rider list

This husky deal is 99%done. And because nothing has come from dean or the team and everyone is already congratulating dean on the ride he is just playing the social media game like reed has done time and time before.
That's just what I'm thinking.
