What you getting? I'm leaning hard towards a 125 smoker and putting a 144 kit in at the first rebuild. Just got a big promo at work and it's only reasonable to reward myself, right?

Yeah do it. By far the best machine to me a 125 with 144. I have rm bored to a 144 and the torque is awesome, engine semi feels like a 250f with the bottom end. Accounting I'm 135ib but can't beat the power and the handling. Big piston is a little tough on cranks though if you ride them hard...

I'm getting the tc250 from(Vital member RMGSXR)Donnell's in Independence, Mo. Not suppose to get his allotment of tc250's until Sept but he said he was supposed to get his first allotment of '17's in Aug and they already arrived so I'm hoping for an early release on the smokers too.

Or, buy a true 144 - the Tm (For a Few Dollars More). I have an older 150 Ktm but would love to get my mitts on a new Tm 150 or 300. KYB forks and all the goodies.

Go down to 9.4 bar and 18 & 18 on the compression and rebound. I think you'll really like those settings.

Who did your RM's 144, and what porting and mods got you the torque? RM125's are not known for their torque. I have one, so I'm interested. Thanks.

I'm going green with friggin envy ! I want one...and I want the 450 as well...and I want the 125 too...
Anybody know next weeks winning lottery numbers?
I'm gonna buy a new ktm next year....I'm torn between the 250 sx, cause I've always ridden 2 strokes and I know that maintaining it will be easy, and the 450 because it would be the ultimate hole shot weapon, easy to ride, front wheel steering, grippy and smooth in corners and has traction control and launch control etc.....I like the idea of the four stroke but not sure I wanna own and maintain one over a long period....
Keep us posted on how your races go on this new bike

Yep, shorty = zero over rev or pulling power. You'll hate a shorty the first time you get left going up a hill!

This may be where the balancer is, although if that's the case its odd that it has mounting bolts. Seems like a starter would get hit with rocks and stuff pretty easily there.

Can't wait for mine to arrive, so I can put this spare PWK Keihin on it and give 'er hell.

The only reason that thing has a Mikuni on it is because Keihin is supposedly ceasing carburetor production. Airstryker value is about to climb. I've got 3.

There were 2 of them at the races on Sunday and they both were ridden by pretty fast experts. They both sounded awesome and looked great on the track. One of them already had graphics and wheels on and it looked pretty Fn sick :-)

Stankdog runs a shorty for the nationals. Less over rev= yes. Less pulling power= no. Pulling power i Would consider midrange, not top end.

I'm 95% sure that is where the starter goes and those are the mounting holes. They are all threaded. I'm pretty sure all the unit that have the starter come with skid plates. The area for the swing of the counter balancer is around the top side of the case I believe. Ill take some more shots tonight when I get home.

The starter goes there.

the 2018 offroad models (XC, XC-W) will be E-start and will feature some type of injection. Moto models will get a carb again.

That's what my dealer said.. I ended up getting that 2016 Husky TC250. I couldn't walk away from the deal. The 17 should come sooner though. They said that was what they were told but it's probably going to be sooner; as you probably already know lol

I'm crossing my fingers because my buddy Ridge is going through Mo. at the end of this month and can pick it up and save me the shipping fees!
