Stews back hasn't seen a top 10 in a long time. I kid I kid I'm a die hard Stewart fan. Good ride from Matt for sure.

I put him in 10-15 position. 2 solid and consistent motos, the only bad thing is that I dont think they showed him even once on the camera all day.

I wish more teams would give these young up and coming riders a chance to show what they have got when the regular rider for the team is out with an injury. Can't cost the team much to do it, and it gets the bike on the track for the sponsors.

Chino, CA (June 2, 2016) – Yoshimura Suzuki Factory Racing would like to announce that Matt Bisceglia will compete as a replacement rider for the team at this Saturday’s Lucas Oil Pro Motocross round in Lakewood, CO. Bisceglia will race as Yoshimura Suzuki’s regulars Blake Baggett and James Stewart continue to recover from injuries sustained earlier in the season.
Bisceglia, a native of Weatherford, Texas, is the 2013 AMA Horizon Award winner. Now in his third full year as a pro, Bisceglia has more than proven himself ready for the 450 Class by being a top-10 finisher in the 250 East Region Supercross series and 250 Motocross Nationals.
“We’re happy to have a rider with Matt’s credentials available to fill-in for Blake and James,” said Yoshimura Suzuki team manager Mike Webb. “With Matt coming in this gives us the opportunity to still have a strong presence at the event in Colorado, while allowing James and Blake to have more time to get healthy before they return to racing.”
Bisceglia is no stranger to Suzuki, having most recently raced a Suzuki RM-Z250 for the MAD Racing/Yoshimura/Suzuki team during this year’s 250 East Region Supercross series. A podium at the Toronto round was a highlight for Matt and the MAD Racing/Yoshimura Suzuki team.
“I’m really looking forward to racing the Yoshimura Suzuki RM-Z450 this weekend,” Bisceglia said. “It’s definitely a dream come true to have the opportunity to race a 450 for a factory team. It’s the pinnacle of the sport and what every rider strives to achieve. I’m thankful to Suzuki for the opportunity. We’ve had a good couple of days of testing and I’m excited to see what this weekend brings.”
Yoshimura Suzuki races this weekend at Lakewood, Colorado’s Thunder Valley for round three of the series this Saturday, June 4. The races will be televised on MavTV and NBCSN and online at www.promotocross.com.

The dude rode great all wknd and looked very smooth. Just my opinion but I think he stays with Baggett the rest of the series.

I don't get it and no one is talking from Matt's camp nor anyone MAD racing SUSZUKI...any insiders here know why he left the team? There was some talk here about him being 'sick' at hangtown, but no one really knew. Then, Racer X does and interview with him after Lakewood and he clams up, they also said they asked MAD SUSZUKI and those guys don't have a clue why he left. All in all, I thought Matt rode awesome at Lakewood, 8th place surprised the hell outta me, in a good way, because I was thinking he'd be 15-20 or maybe even have a hard time cracking 20th.

What is there more to say on both parties ? They had a mutual agreement to move on from each other. I'm sure yosh will find away to keep him the rest of the summer. In my opinion you will not see JS7 the rest of the year. Good for Matty B and good luck to him in the future.

According to Matthes who spoke with the team owner, he has no idea why Bisceglia left and told Matthes to let him know if he finds out. I think it's pretty obvious that he left so he could race the Yosh 450 even if for only a round.

He may have done the right thing for himself. He seized the opportunity and made the most of it by putting in two excellent motos.

Exactly and good for Matty B. He seized the chance to better himself . He left a team going no where in my opinion and and took a chance. Now yosh has a chance to keep a young rider who wants to work for a chance. JS7 can move on and get a deal on his own. Really a simple solution to think of it either way.
