Seriously???? You clearly are not a fan of this sport, or you don't know what you are talking about. Invisible in the last three years? See below: 2015 450SX - 5th overall (Rookie SX year) 2015 450MX - 4th overall (rookie MX year) 2016 450SX - Missed races due to injury, had a couple top 5's 2016 450MX - passed...

Blake was more fired up at Matthes because of his comments on the RacerX podcast.... that's probably where all of this stemmed from. He has nothing personal against Tomac, other than wanting to beat him.

2nd in his heat behind Tomac showed he was up to speed. Good start in the main, down toward the end of the whoop section and had to avoid being run over by 15 or 16 guys that were behind him. By the time he was able to get up and get back on the bike he was dead last...

This has been a rumor since the sale. I heard LUX was paying $500,000 a month in rent. I also heard it wasn't true at all. LUX has been dumping tens of millions of dollars into upgrades at this facility in the last year or two, I doubt they are going to let the building go. Also, here is something...

I believe the non-compete was 7 years and has been over for a couple years. I've heard that Jim does own the building, and I've also heard that is a rumor and LUX acquired it in the sale (which makes sense).

I would assume that LUX will eventually get rid of any and all product that isn't eyewear. Bottom line, they are an eyewear company. They do not sell t-shirts, hats, backpacks, shoes, etc. This also brings up another question... if they discontinue all AFA (apparel, footwear, accessories), what will they fill their Oakley stores with? Will they convert them into...

Very cool! Wish the MX track would have worked out. Peters built it, and James was the only one to ride it for a Yamaha intro deal. The neighboring companies and insurances put the dreams of employees and friends/family having a place to ride! The BMX jumps and pump track are awesome. They used to have a half pipe as...

Here's the thing... Luxottica owns Sunglass Hut, Lenscrafters, and many many other eyewear retailers. When they say that they will no longer sell Oakley products, that can make a huge impact on Oakley sales. Yes, Oakley has their own stores, but to try and fight Luxottica, it would be a losing battle. LUX is an $18B company. Trust me, coming...

I worked for Oakley HQ for 8 years. I've been around the company since I was a kid... My uncle worked there for 30 years, my Dad did about 18 years, and my Aunt did about 15 years there. My Dad was lucky enough to work for Jim personally over the years, at Oakley, and at RED. Such a shame...

It would be very cool to see him follow in his father and grandfather's footsteps. The Everts family are awesome people... was lucky enough to be invited to their home in Belgium. Very cool experience to meet them and hang out for a day.

Just another company trying to keep pace with Oakley design and technology. "You get what you pay for"... keep that in mind when buying equipment used to protect your eyes.

These guys (Roczen, Stewart, Dungey, etc.) very much do use the team rigs... they just also happen to be some of the wealthier racers and decide to buy their own motorhomes to travel to all of the races for comfort.... their own beds, kitchens, showers, etc. It also eliminates the riders and their families from having to stay in hotel...
