Is this possible? I would really like to get the communities input of whether Lurch's screaming should be heard at A1 2017.

My vote is Lurch stays but that idiotic screaming HAS TO GO! I enjoy his contributions but definitely not the screams.

I never understood what he does for the sport. To me he's worthless, he announces the whole race but you can't even head what he says and yes I rather hear just the bikes the whole race. I love the sound of them revving the bikes. I hate the screaming he does, I think it pumps absolutely no one up, me personally they should cut him and give his wages to the privateers.

Saddly, this SX/mx generation didn't have someone like Larry Supermouth Huffman announcing. He was a great showman and tougher than a two dollar steak.

Things change with time in some cases. I heard we aren't the only ones not digging the screaming as in not everyone at Feld is on board with it in 2016.

To reiterate I like everything Lurch contributes to the night program with the exception of the screaming. Accordingly he doesn't need to be run out of town just make a change IMHO to stay in step with the times.

The scream's time has DEFINITELY come and gone.

I find laugh tracks and screaming announcers to be equally annoying.

Right. Please make it stop. Also, the voice from rider intros. "From Haines City Florida...on a Yoshimura Suzuki...2 time Supercross champion...James Stewart" in that ominous, doomsday voice. It sounds waaaay to hard to sound rugged and edgy.

I brought 8 people to the first NY/NJ Supercross and was so embarrassed at it. They all looked at me like WTF? They enjoyed the rest of the show though.

But seriously, I've never been able to make out a single word the floor announcers were saying apart from the screams.

About the dumbest thing you will hear at a sx is the screaming. I'm all for having someone on the floor but come on man. Sounds like something from wwf and should be changed in the program.

Usually when he's screaming there's 22 bikes at 12,000 RPM's and I don't notice it that much. I'm there to watch a race. I barely even notice there's an announcer so it doesn't bother me either way. You guys are funny......funny like whiny teenage girls are (or screaming announcers). The announcer is trying to pump up the excitement....and you get "embarrassed" while your friends look at you with a "WTF" expression?! Sounds like you all need to switch to NASCAR!

Give it the same vibe as WWE in my opinion.

I may be an educated man, but I can not speak intelligently on the screaming habits of Mr. Lurch, I know it just gives our sport a WWE feeling.

Unfortunately as long as Feld promotes our sport as more spectacle than sport to the masses...it will continue to sound like a monster truck event.

god they do such a piss poor job it's unbearable to listen to live.

There were some changes higher up with the Feld guys, maybe this will be looked at? I hope.

I'm all for the announcers at the live event, Holley and Bowyer would be a a great duo to do the live stuff.
