I think Barcia and his mechanic with their matching beards look silly. But hey that's just me a grumpy 51 year old.
Justin hasn't had a beard since before Daytona. But carry on.

I saw Jake in the parking lot after the race. He said he was sore, but that he'd be back next week.

I saw it in person as well.

Weimer took a shot at Barcia as they took the right-hander after the finish line. He missed by a mile and ended up going way wide down the start straight. Then Barcia, who had space to get away, checked up in the next corner for the sole purpose of messing with Jake. It may have started before that and they continued bumping each other for the rest of the lap.

Barcia crossed the line first and then Weimer rode up to him for a discussion. Like Pete, I wouldn't call it a headbutt. It was goggle-to-goggle, like he was just getting in his face. Barcia rode away and Weimer spoke to two officials, though to me it looked like he was the instigator and threw plenty of his own elbows on the track.
Well said.

Seems like most men who criticize other men's facial hair either:
A. Cannot grow a full-grown man beard, or
B. Their wives will not allow them too, or
C. They are subservient at work and the bossman won't let them.

Still looks stupid in the commercial.

A. Sometimes I shave before work in the morning and again when I get home depending where we are going at night. It's a pain and I don't care if it's regular razor or electric.

B. Wife's not a fan but she doesn't stop it. Not a fan of somethings I do but as shown in the avatar she doesn't stop me.

C. Aren't we all subservient to the person signing our paycheck? And no, my boss an ex Ranger doesn't like beards nor motor sports. Seals seem to be big into beards though.

You used c twice. And in any event doesn't apply.

Sorry if you have a beard and I offended you. I have friends with beards. Some cover old bike injuries. You seem to be a bit too sensitive to it though.

It's all good, but publicly calling out another adult male for choosing a beard is as ridiculous as the list I made. See the irony? Cool

Funny how you post an eye witness account of the incident, but that doesn't jive with the Barcia hate so your post gets passed right over haha.

Its not just you fellas.
My uncle is 74 and said they look like dirty lazy hippies and makes their sponsors look bad.

Clearly your uncle can't see the screen.
How do they make there sponsors look bad.
E.g. Barcia's mech is a great team player, works professionally, puts in long hard hours, lives a great family life based on great morals, has an awesome family and gets JGR plenty of press with his beard seems to me he and JGR win.
This is how narrow minded society has become he's basing what he has seen on TV and thinks it makes sponsors look bad? How has it made lets say Toyota look bad?

you will have a lot of disappointing years ahead of you if you think he won't get any factory rides. not many guys out there who can win.

Shallow people judge others on appearance

So they have beards. Or had beards. Big deal. Some of you really need to step away from message boards for a good while.

Great to hear Jake is OK! Jake's a class act through and through.

So when you see someone dressed like a prostitute, do you think she is a banker? Or do you "judge" her as someone you would like to have babysit your kids?

Yeah, well how old are you. If you're younger than 51, maybe there is an age where the beard coolness breaks. . . So far we got a 51, 53 and 71 year old uncle who don't like beards. Maybe the 40 year olds think it's cool? Barcia is 24 years old, so the divide is somewhere between 24 and 51. We need to find out what age beards become not cool. . . Marketing.

Narrowing this down. I'm 30 and undecided on my beliefs about facial hair. . . But I can't grow a beard to save my life. So I might be an outlier in the data.

Geeeeez this thread went another way.

I'm a big Weimer fan, he's a great interview and a great rider who's just had a horrendous run... I'm glad he's alright, can't imagine Nicole was pumped watching her new Dad-Husband getting run over near the neck, that could have been really fucking bad.

Just go with it man. . . Just go with it. Ha.

I agree though with you on Weimer. Dude is pretty humble and just wants to win. I wish he could have just a healthy season and get going.

53 here with a beard that ranges from 3" to 5", depending on time of year. As Brocster remarked, "shallow people judge others by appearance."

By extension, my legal "colleagues" who hang out at the country club think all of us who play with scooters are rednecks----beard or no beard.
