You're right, it's pretty simple and reasonable, but we are all unaware until your post. Thanks, by he way...
2015 Detroit Dunge was P1 1st lap, and Eli got a P3 start...Took the lead on lap 5, and won by 11s. Someone who is just 'meh' in SX does not start P3...pass the best guy..and win by 11s. NJ ELi and RD start P5 and P6. Eli wins by 12.8 S. Detroit and NJ were the two most dominant performances of the year by far He also seems to be very good on physical Mickey Mouse tracks where he can just bash things, OJ, and ride physical. .
It takes a lot of time to get things dialed in. Look how long it took for Honda to get the bike working for him...and look what happened when they did (2015 MX).
His performance in 2016 is very strong considering the severity of his injury.
Pit Row
Not being physically strong enough yet from his recovery, or the bike not quite being where he wants it.
The kid was probably chasing cardio the second he could post op.
In two sentences, you said his fitness was not an issue, but then said he's not strong enough? Bro, do you even read some of the shit you type out before you click the "submit" button?
We all know that nothing replaces riding when it comes to riding fitness (be that strength, cardio level, etc.). He could have been in Tour shape before ever swinging a leg over his Kawi and still would be winded from riding.
Reed , mudflaps and others hate it too.
Looks like if you are not a short red head it wont work for you.. lol
he was definitely catching roczen but obviously roczen had a much better off season and eli got tight the last 8 or so laps. in his case probably a lack of muscular endurance. no decent weight training in the off season. his base fitness (cardiovascular) is not the problem I would imagine.
