I don't usually have to slink around and hide stuff from her....but whenever I steal her hair drier I can hear the Mission Impossible theme in my head. She does get in a twist when she finds it in the garage!

Looks like its an 00-01 with an 02-16 gas tank and radiator shrouds, if so,k how did you do that ....do they mount up directly???

I have an 03 and looking to get an 01 as a backup or hills bike so I was curious

I have a good sized garage, so bikes/bike parts aren't ever in the house.

The one thing my garage doesn't have is plumbing and a sink, SO, that means I've always got three or four air filters sitting in the sink in the laundry room waiting to be cleaned (no toil). She won't let them in the bathrooms or the kitchen...so we compromised on the laundry room sink, and that is where I get to clean my air filters.

My wife gets pissed that my bikes been sitting around not being ridden for over a year now, but not much you can do when you're injured and recovering from surgery. She's chomping at the bit to get me back out on the track so she can yell at me for not doing long enough motos. I'm pretty sure she's right there with RC's mom back when he was an amateur.

Good god this is right on. I too lucked out on a girl who is pretty, puts up with motorcycles, and can cook. We are both mid 30s, I found her when she was 22. I feel really bad for millennials, but they may not know what they are missing.

Oh let's see what has garnered "the look."

Forgetting air filters in the washing machine... This seems to be an ongoing phenomenon.

Wheel sets laying around the house in the basement bed room needing to go to the shop.

Airboxes in the sink.

VP gas jugs everywhere.

SC1 so thick in the basement it looks like fog.

Riding gear spread out EVERYwhere pre race check list.

My Wife's vintage RM80 in the kitchen, she has a vintage DT175 in the front room and her DRZ400 in the garage with my RMZ450 & CR500 ..... she's cool :-)

+1 - absolutely no indication that a full blown moto nutt lives inside the house. Step into the garage and it's like a tornado blew threw spewing parts and accessories for every hobby i've ever had. Carpet that is from the 80's with oil stains from the 90s till current day. She calls it the "black hole" because stuff that goes from the house to the garage is never seen again.

Ding ding ding. Mines right there too. There’s something to be said for a woman that believes in supporting her man when he’s doing something that makes him happy and is a positive influence in his life. I don’t get any static for occasionally leaving gear or parts around, but I do get a delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner every day and an “ok” anytime I want to go riding, snowboarding, shooting, etc… Sorry America, but Russia knows how to make a better woman.
