Back in the early 2000s I won my fair share of races in the ole JMX series. Most came at the Shelby supercross races. Anyone on this board use to race those JMX Saturday night races? Those were the days. Gates were always packed.

Nothing in moto, but I've won a few mountain bike races.

Not to gloat but I was the 2012 Oklahoma State +30 C/D champion. I didn't lose a second moto all summer. I still claim it, my wife says I'm pathetic. I have won my last 4 motos this fall though.

First time was a 125 beginner race at Sacramento Raceway back in about 1994, next came a 250 beginner race at the mid-state fairgrounds in Paso Robles about a year later. Then no racing for about 10 years. Next came a few OTHG races in the +30 intermediate class, and a peppering of class wins at various enduros over the years culminating in a class championship ---> Vet B Western Checkpoint Enduro series in 2014. Still waiting for that trophy though (eh hem...Mr. Kudla....)

I won a few D36 and CMC races in the 70s. Then in the 90s a lot of local vet class and 125c incl 2 spring and summer series Friday night Moto championships. One Polka Dots GP and some div 3 speedway. Man it's all fun though.

I've won a few Motocross races including one on my birthday a couple years ago. Won a desert race last year. Also won a couple road races back in 2005. I moved up to Pro-Am this year in desert racing and I think my winning days are over. These guys are fast.

Won for the first time in 79, and my last win was in 2013 in a 5hr pony express series in the 45+ class. Won a few in between those years too. I have had at least 1 win in each of the last 5 decades.

Since we seem to be all having a pretty good time with this one....has anybody ever won a trophy where the figure is doing this? Sort of a head scratcher..

Started racing in 1982 on 80s. Like somebody said earlier, I was a practice racer for a while so I hit the first races with some speed. Got 3rd at my first race but never won on 80s. Moved up to 125s in 83 and finally won in the summer at Indian Dunes. Still remember it like it was yesterday.

Had some trouble with injuries but had a good streak going in 1987 where I couldn't lose a race. I had drag race poster in my bedroom that said Winning Streak on it. I kept chucking a 1st place trophy under it every Sunday for a while which was fun. Good times.

However, never won a expert/pro moto ever! Props to those dudes, even the local hotshots. Not easy. Had the lead a few times but somebody always wore me down. Fuckers!

I've been the first to the line a few times... Do I count it as a win? Hmmm there was only 6 or so in them.
Let's just say I've found my favourite club! Haha

This. And, on a motorcycle, beginner and junior classes (OR had Beginner, Jr. Int, Pro). Lots on quads, but again, last century.

Did pick up a trials bike and win the novice class the second time out though. The tougher lines are a long way off for me though and my couple times a year riding.

BTW, it is WAY harder to win a bicycle race than a motorcycle race for the average weekend warrior.

Probably more championships than moto's and definitely more than overalls.....Ah the joys of Vet. racing show up to every race and end up on the podium at the end of the series.A secret smile on my face at work every Monday morning that no one knows anything about.I just love it.

Won lots of local Ohio races as a kid. 2003 d12 champion in supermini /2004 district 12 champion in b class. Couple LLQ qualifiers, etc. came across this pic in my grandmas photo album over thanksgiving.

Last year I ended up 6 OA in battle for Ohio state champ series in the 125 class with a DNS in my last moto otherwise woulda been runner up to a blazing fast Ezra Hastings from Indianna. Was pumped to lead that kid for 1 lap at briarcliff. After that I never saw him. Kids are so fast these days.

Competition isn't all that fierce in my parts though. I'd say I'm an average vet rider pace. Never was Anything special.

I won my first race ever, went 1-1 back at Barona Oaks on a KTM 50. If I could find the trophy I would know the year! It was an awesome day. I felt like Grant Langston with my #111 orange machine Wink

I won more races in the future but I don't recall them as clearly as my first.

My biggest claim to fame was when I won a mud race in the c class and lapped everyone except second place. So I guess you could say I'm a lot like Carmichael.

Plenty of wins at the local level in both MX and jet skis. Also won a regional championship in the NMA . also scored a top 10 at ponca in the pro class no top 20 in AMA pro.

No way! It was a fluke. I was midpack in the C class for the rest of the year. I just got lucky because we put on some brand new mud tires right before the first moto.

Bunch of wins including local and state MX championships in A,B, 80's, and 60's. Bunch of state and national wins in offroad in AA and A. 20+ championships if I had to guess. 350+ trophies collecting dust I'd love to get rid of but I just don't have the heart. Too many great memories.
