Did they get bought out by other companies or just go out of business?

My favorite bike is probably my 2007 CRF or my 1998 YZ 125. Least favorites are easily my 2000 RM250 and my 2013 KTM, both were unreliable and that is the main reason why I did not care for them.

Damn MXracer106 you delivered on the subject. Looks like you definitely keep a clean set of bikes, I like how your bike stand is the same In a lot of the older pics! Ol faithful if you will huh.

Why thank you stangkag! I always felt if you worked hard to buy something....then take care of it! Awesome observation on the bike stand.....since you just brought that to my attention, it struck my memory that I purchased that Pro Circuit aluminum stand off a buddy back in 1993 for only $20.00! And I still have it to this day after damn near 22 years! Note the pic of my 1986 CR250 resting on it! That baby is still going!

Bought my 1st bike in the early 60's. Since the I've had a new bike every year and even 2 a year as I raced 2 different displacement classes.

That was 48 years ago. This does not include the Vintage Bikes I collected and sold during the turndown.

Hmmm... that does not include the bikes I had for mŷ sons to ride and race.

Too bad these aren't still around. They were cheap, simple and easy to fix. We thought we were factory mechanics, drilling "lubrication" holes in pistons, shortening the piston skirts, messing with the intakes and carbs, chucking the silencers, moving the shocks up, just fucking them up every wich way from sunday yet somehow they still ran

These are my bikes/ projects I rode myself that I can remember, lots of other stuff that never got used or still in the making.

Worst bike: my pw80. Swing arm bent so the shock touched the rear tire. and as a kid I was super skinny.
Best bike: My first 2001 cr250. Don't know what the previous owner did to it, but it ran great. lots of power and easy to manage

If I'm being honest here, there are a lot of shitty bikes in this list. The 04 kx250f was the worst. The 2006 YZ250 was probably the best for its time, but the 2015 crf 450 is obviously the best bike I've had with the 2011 being a close second to the worst bike I ever had. There have been more junky street bikes I've fixed up and sold, but nothing I didn't keep longer than a month is on here.
