Most police are pushing for body cams. From what I've seen, its mostly the "older" officers who are against it. At my department we have a few guys who could have retired years ago, don't do a hell of a lot and are valiantly against body cams. The other 98% of the officers are all for it. The issue is the funding. The actual cameras themself aren't where the majority of the cost comes from. Its the storage space needed on the computers.
