I lived in Bellevue between 89-92ish and they were pretty big regionally then, along with Tad, Mudhoney, and obviously the bands that blew up like Soundgarden, MLB, AIC, Pearl Jam/Mookie Blaylock, Nirvana, etc. Screaming Trees were pretty good, but part of that may have been my bias because they were from eastern Washington. 

And you can’t mention the Seattle music scene from that era without mentioning Citizen Dick with Cliff Poncier!!!!
 

Epic time to live in the Seattle area. A-6 Intruders were based at either Whidbey Island or VA Beach (NAS Oceana).  I politicked heavily for A-6 East Coast (Oceana) in 1989, even after my buddy burned me a copy of “Louder Than Love”, my intro to that scene. Downside: I wasn’t at the epicenter of that movement. Upside: we lived 2 blocks from the Atlantic Ocean and could walk to the bars.

They're kind of like an early '90s/ '60s retro experimental pop group. They seem like what The Beatles or Beach Boys would be if they were '90s alternative bands, lol. I watched all 3 videos, never heard of them before. I like their sound. The lead singer isn’t a dead ringer but he looks a little like Joaquin Phoenix till you see him up close and even then he looks like him to a certain degree.

I took my kids to see The Smashing Pumpkins last summer. That was a trip!

Parkway Drive. i know they're big in Australia and Europe but i stumbled on them recently and can't stop. big fan here. they have so many bangers
