I dislike how SX and MX is only about the winner/top guy at the money level and the fan level. Other motorsports reward ALL participants with earnings and recognition. Its cool to finish 9th in other motorsports. It means nothing in our sport. The team/rider that finished 9th in SX/MX spent over $300,000 to do it. It should mean something.

-Posers that post moto stuff on social media
-Monster and Rockstar gear
-brake cable on the outside of the fork
-the excuses people give why they aren't riding.. My bike is in the shop getting fully modded by insert local shop here. I sent my suspension off to PC
-when I'm trying to chill after a moto and all the track snacks won't get off my jock... Happens all the time. It must be the 10 year old bike and beer gut

The guy in staging that won't shut the fuck up about how good he is, and he expects top 5 today. And he's winning some other local series in whatever class he says.

Mudfest 1st practice of the day.

Sitting on the gate then the sprinklers turn on and youre thinking good... Now turn em off its perfect, but they just keep em on!

40 man combined vet classes, followed by some other race with 8 in it and then the next race has maybe 15.

Rev limiter warmups

Sprinklers on the track that miss two spots. Those spots get real dusty... So they soak the shit out of the track and does jack all for the two dusty spots....PUT A HOSE AT THE TWO SPOTS @ APPIN!!!

How anti social people are. I'm still learning and it's been hell trying to get someone to give me pointers or give me any info about the track.

People that judge you based on what you do for a living. Ya I do work in a fancy office and wear a tie to work every day but I'll LS swap anything and whoop your ass if riding anything but a track.

C class. I am 100% not an A or B rider but lots of riders in the C class are. If you can quad or triple something...get out of C class. Yet these idiots get pissed at me for holding up their pace.

Finally, people that rode a kx80 15 years ago but claim to be a past McGrath. I don't need your tips on why I should have got a two stroke, my 450 is fine. I don't need a KTM to make me faster. If it's easy than why aren't you out there?

My first thought after reading through this thread is; some of you guys really need to relax. Who cares what people ride? How many stickers they have? What they wear, etc.? I'm an intermediate level rider on my best days, and my 250 is pretty sweet with suspension package, Slips motor work, factory fatty, V-Force 3, levers, fly-wheel weight, and other little improvements. Back in my first go-round I didn't have a lot of income and was always on a stock bike with maybe a pipe and Pro-Circuit changing the oil in my shock. I did my own forks back then. Now it seems that some of you at the track might be looking down on me because I have a nice motorcycle and the income to support it. Why? Because I'm not running the money class? Sheesh.

However, in my opinion, there are some legit complaints here. I ran into a kid on a 50 one practice day because he crossed the face of a jump in front of me - after I had been careful for 3/4 of a lap waiting for a clear shot to get around him. He injured his wrist in the ensuing accident. I did not come close to falling, but I still felt terrible about the whole deal.

People that don't respect the track owners' rules by ripping through the pits with a nice wheelie, roosting through the gears - that sort of thing. The sign says "FIRST GEAR ONLY IN THE PITS." Read and heed.

If you crash on the blind side of a jump, don't sit in the middle of the track trying to get your bike started. Recently I just missed a guy that was obviously a new rider that did that very thing. I swear that incident aged me another year in that two seconds of sheer terror.

I have to admit...advanced riders in a class they should not be in, does grind my gears. Move up. You will only get better.

Some of you really need to repack your silencers and mufflers. The Kawasaki 4-strokes seem to be especially loud here in Florida. By the way, when did they go from being silencers to mufflers? Did that come with the 4-strokes?

I started riding/racing again 3 years ago after a 20+ year layoff. That sort of thing tends to give a guy a new perspective. I'm so glad to be back at racing at age 54 that I have very few complaints. I don't care about having to sit around and watch the races while I wait for my class. I just take it easy and enjoy the sights and sounds and meeting fellow racers. I don't care if someone rides a 4-stroke. They are great bikes. I personally prefer two-strokes because they are so easy to yank apart and put back together. I try and keep complaints about the track to an absolute minimum. If something is unsafe, I will speak up, but if the track is rough or not exactly "ideal" or watered enough, or changed since I last rode, I just keep quiet and remember "This is motocross. It isn't supposed to be easy."

Fights at the track. this last weekend a kid crashed off the start, thought that someone did it on purpose so he waited until he came around and tried taking him out multiple time. that lead to fight in the pits and a family being escorted off the property by the sheriffs. they are now kicked out of track for atleast a year. pretty shitty sense its B class and we race for plastic. its the worst.

It sounds Like you actually ride you bike,my problem is with people who have a nice bike and talk about how good they are but never take their bike on the track,just start it and then put around the pits,showing how cool their bike is.

Similar to the guys who have loaded bikes, go ride a lap or two, stink it up and come back and sit for 2-3 hours complaining about how they just arent feeling it this week. Week after week they just arent feeling it... At some point you have to wonder if they even know what feeling it is they dont have

The one dude that will roll every jump , including singles, and when he gets to the downside, jacks the throttle wide open. Sends roost up under your helmet if you happen to be behind him.

Watering one corner of the track ( slid out on the face of the jump, the guy behind me said it looked like a sweet scrub until I high sided on the landing and drilled my shoulder into the groung breaking my collarbone).

I think that's about it. I race at OMC in Boise mostly and they run a tight ship and it's tons of fun! It's a private track so they don't put up any of the shit people are griping about!

Riders coming off the track for one class practice then getting back in line for another one. Usually they are fast guys practicing with the D and C class then jumping into B and A practice so they can get a few more laps in.

When you are at the track on the weekend, and don't get the word they are about to water the track and get the sprinklers turned on while you are on the track.

when they water the track right before your moto when it doesn't need it and tons of guys are down on the ground. 450 beginner class? wth who in ther right mind should be racing a 450 and is a beginner and I don't care of your 300lbs. people who don't know how to water or flag and make life hell for others

I've never had a bad day at the track, but the Supercross announcing makes my ears bleed. I love Emig but he definetely gets roped along by Ralph into YELLING EVERY WORD HE SAYS DURING THE RACE. No other announcers, in any sport, do this. It's embarrassing and cheesy.

Well, at 54 years old I've probably devolved into a D rider after 40 years of riding/racing. I make no apologies for having a stock 250, a modified 250, and a modded 450 (full Ohlins setup, which I guess makes me some sort of super a**hole). I enjoy working on and modding my bikes almost as much as I enjoy riding (which I do every week, weather permitting). I'm not sure why how I choose to spend my money negatively affects anyone else, but to each, his own, I guess. I do run a very modest moto van setup, so perhaps that offsets the whole multiple bike offense.

Nah you're not allowed to have modded motorcycles or multiple motorcycles. But people that mod their cars and have multiple modded cars are allowed to do so even though their cars don't even hit the tracks?
Aslong as you conduct yourself in a modest way I think that people shouldn't have a problem with you looking after and customizing your motorcycles

People who can't say three words without a saying f@&! or some variation of it. It just makes no sense (if you think about what the word actually means and the context they are using it in, 99% of the time)...and so you know they are only saying it out of habit, which makes it worse.

No or tiny berms in SX.

And basically anything related to the 4 stroke evolution and it's effect on Supercross racing. Watching the riders ride was way better before 2006.
