Since everyone is replying again, I may aswell add something to this: I know Feld doesn’t support privateers enough and that the entry fees are bullshit expensive but living in your van and riding ... more »

People have lost sight of the true value of money since everything is financed these days. $50k sounds like nothing when it’s $300 a week over 4 years.

This would be unreal. Even a simple CFD model would be awesome

I completely agree. There are obviously independent bodies that perform these tests but no real information or even videos are released on the testing. In Australia you can search your car model into the ANCAP website and it will show footage of your ... more »

There will always be a reason for people to complain. From 8 years experience working in a bike shop, the ones complaining aren't really the ones buying the bikes anyway?

Added reply in a thread 2023 KTM 300SX 5/12/2022 5:28 AM

This thread was cool until it got to 2 strokes vs 4 strokes. Use them to benefit each other I reckon - I’d rather put 100 hours on a 2 stroke 300 than on my 250f - It’ll make your 250f feel slow - improving your confidence (hopefully in proportion to ... more »

I’m not shocked at all May 16 the media is going to put this bike in the spotlight and pre orders will boom. If they announce the delay after the media launch, they will upset 100,000 people with refundable preorders. Do it this week when you’ll only ... more »

I was so hyped for the 2022 YZ, and now KTM have come out with a TBI SX range and now I’m not sure. Is everyone still considering the YZ? I’ve heard it’s only marginal gains which makes sense given 2 stroke development hit a plateau 20 years ago

Added reply in a thread If Ryder D can get to pro level speed in 12 years of racing, can a 20 year old get to pro level speed by 32? 2/27/2022 7:18 AM

We need a 20 year old with a tonne of drive and decent talent to win lotto and then throw the kitchen sink at trying to make a main by 30. Would be interesting to see this type of experiment not just in MX/SX, but superbikes and car racing aswell. This ... more »

That's a great point regarding motor skills. On the subject of early development, I wonder if being exposed to adrenaline at a young age plays a part in over coming it as an adult

I have, but I didn't know his story until I searched it just then... Was he always riding at tracks/practicing until 20? or was he fresh to it?

Given talent and opportunities are the same* Ryder D is 16 and I assume he started at around 4 which is 12 years of racing.
