Any scooter racing, more scooter racing, extra scooter racing. As a fan this is better than less scooter racing.

Yeah probably was a little harsh...but he is bad, I'm sure most of his issues were from the production team...

I hope I can say how much I agree with your opinion without bothering anyone.
Wink
It was "globally" (to use a WSX official term) a bit worse than I expected.
Tomac and a few others saved a poor track, dirt and broadcast.
Too bad he's already gone.

Looking? We just didn’t receive anywhere near what was “promised” If you’re going to claim to do and be all the things that the promoters of WSX said they were going to be then you better be able to deliver that…and they didn’t even come close. FYI I want this series to survive as a fall off season series so riders can make some off season money and fans that typically don’t get see SX can…but to call that World Class….not even close…

I wish everyone would park their egos for a minute and just think about the kids. How fricken cool would it have been to be 10 years old in Wales and seeing Ken Roczen and Eli Tomac throw down right in front of you. Memories for life!

Agreed. Beat and Allen were amateur hour on RDL and made it unwatchable.

Both good folks....just not cut out for commentating.

I was there, I have to say, I really enjoyed it, OK, so it may of not of been as action packed as ama, but I thought they put on an all round good display.
for a first event, it was well run

I consider myself lucky to see these pros ride in the flesh

Have you been to an AMA race? The dozers are on the tracks more than the riders.

One of the things this series has actually done well is fill the 3 hours time.

As some1 who has watched several AMA. Pretty much what I expected.

Dirt wasn’t the best which didn’t help.

X2 guys who haven’t ridden much get hurt in their 1st races

Great for the British to get to see Several decent riders but it needed Eli and Kenny

Overall not as good as AMA by a long shot, but a great chance to see some professional supercross racers for people who can’t get to America. WSX should have tried to work with AMA teams and AMA to a create something special for the rest of the world. Maybe x2 a year but different locations each year.

Not AMA but enjoyed it. Best indoor racing we have seen in the U.K.

I think its was a good start. ofc not comparable to the AMA series broadcast, thats okay, it can only go up from that point on. Dont get the hate, never got it, never will.

Like i said from the day it was announced.. its a knock-off supercross series that will still be carried by AMA riders when theyre not racing the actual series

and Roczen faded again a 3th, 2th and 4th...the wheels did't gain enough traction...i knew it.
i think he'll step back from second and final round in Melbourne to prepair for SX 2023...doesn't matter he hasn't a team signed him yet Evil

People would complain if wining the lottery. It did feel like an off-season race, but that's about it. People here acting as if they are taking money from them.

On a side note, one thing I take from the event, a Tigger doesn't changes it's stripes, it had all the normal AMA SX script:

- cream rises to the top (Tomac)
- Usual suspects finding their way into the ground (Wilson)
- Bogle DNF at least one moto
- Friese with good starts
- Roczen, well I'll leave it at that

Someone at WSX misinterpreted the request to get a Monster Energy 30sec girl and just got a monster sized “girl”.

I think this is fair , it was a good off season race. In a market which hasn’t seen it before. If they can make this model work financially it will be good for some riders to make some money

It’s a long way off the premier series in the world

When I first saw the metal finish ramp I thought it was dumb, but I was like maybe Im just biased and its no big deal. Then I saw Savatgy crash into it almost getting seriously hurt and then having no way to go over it after remounting his bike and I thought thats why its dumb. Ramps are for freestyle, get that shit out of there.

Anyways yes the broadcast sucked but I expect that to get better. Thats why theyre doing this short series, to learn. Definitely surprised they didnt test out the helmet cams ahead of time, but thatll get fixed Im sure. Still glad to have some off season sx to watch, but get rid of the damn ramp next time. I think its actually a good thing theyre starting with 3 races so they can iron out the kinks for next year. If this had been a full series it would have been a disaster. I have faith!

All I can say is: Vince Friese is the third best rider "in the world".
