you need to get rid of that junk stock throttle cable and get one of these in +5" length.

What is the issue with the factory cable?

Anything looks better than black, has to be the ugliest fad to ever hit dirt bikes since day glow neon in the early 90's. That is one Bitchen lookin modern bike and I don't say that very often.

I'd like black rims more if 95% of all bikes didn't have them. Even then they look bikes look heavy and slow IMO.

When I was younger I was riding my 02 125 sx in some trails behind my house, the cable snagged on a up rooted tree root and it revved to the moon. Got thrown off and got the wind knocked out of me. I finally got my breath back and walked a mile or two back to my house to have my dad help me get the bike back home. I've been horrified of it happening again. I brought my new 2013 250 sx back to the dealership and they did the re call. Still bugged out so I bought the t3 standard length, I've heard many mixed reviews on re routing the cable.

I just changed mine out literally 5 minutes ago, and it looks like KTM may have resolved the problem with the cable pulling out of the carb. I think its still a nice upgrade though with a higher quality cable and better routing options.

How are the Acerbis frame guards working for you? Holding up decently? I have the oem orange ones and they are getting a bit beat looking after just a few rides.

buddy broke his femur due to it!

i havent heard of the sx cdi mod? the 300sx comes with a new CDI thats supposedly mapped for the 300 and not just the 250sx cdi that came with the 300SX kits prior to '14.

i ran the 300 cdi for a bit, thought i didnt like it, put the 250sx cdi back on. rode that for a couple months, then just recently threw the 300 cdi back in and man that thing is dirty. sold my stock one on ebay this week.

as of what else to do...
gearing, vforce reeds, exhaust, 38mm carb if you ride it higher in the rpm range.

@spooner , the acerbis guards are pretty nice, and definitly hold up better than the solid orange ones.

Is the 300sx cdi better than the stock 250sx cdi?

i'm not super quick so it may be placebo. but mike and me both agreed the 250sx one had more hit.
but i ended up going back to the 300 cdi and like it way better. i think it pulls harder honestly.

Post back with your thoughts on the Bill's. I've been considering a Scalvini, but I'd love to hear what you think of the new rig. Now if we can just get them to put out a carbon fiber silencer!

I've had to stop myself from pulling the trigger on the works calipers a couple times.....you're making me think I need to go for it.
