He certainly had a "Welcome to the pros" kinda day. He'll progress fast, just as a lot of them do. His speed was decent running just outside the top 10 considering it was his first go at a national. He's also still on his amateur bike(I'd assume its not as good as the other star bikes possibly - controversial).

I hear ya. I think the first moto was a pretty good gauge. Steady 11-12th until the crash. Pala is his home track, so I'm curious if they let him go next weekend.

8/27/2022 11:56am Well Ace, I would say you should offer your assistance to Ferrandis to turn around his “lackluster” top 10 performances coming back from injury. Comparing the physical preparedness to jump out of a plane to doing a 30min +2 at a pro pace, on a national track did give me a good chuckle.

8/27/2022 11:41am Honest question. Have you ever competed in a physical high intensity sport, took a break for injury, and then jumped right back with no effect on performance? For most, it takes a bit of time to regain that race pace. There are very few that can jump back mid season with no drop off. Only person I can think of...
