Flame out when whacking the throttle generally indicates leanness. And your improvement going to 5 seems to confirm this. The fuel may be oxygen rich and requiring a richer setting. Also your TPS adjustment may be off.

So I leaned the dials out to 3 and it got considerably worse. Richened them up to 5 and now it’s miles better. I think I’ll hang out here for a bit when I get out to ride it and see. I’m shocked one click on the Lo/Mid/Hi can make such a difference.
