Why? He was right. RV tested in Belgium. GuyB said they changed link. They did a lot this week. I bet this was the busiest week in Showa history.

You know what? This actually kind of pisses me off. He's pretty much saying nobody else but RV gave a shit about qualifying. They all " Just paced it ".......complete and utter bullshit Malin. Add that to the list of about 50 other things I've heard him say over the years at the MXon's races. People can deny it all they want....but Malin just can't stand American riders. You can just hear the spite in his tone of voice.

@PaulMalin11: @ocscottie Ot is only Saturday! TC222 fell turn 1, JVH later, GP21 came thru to 3rd etc etc. RV raced almost each lap, the others paced it.

Where is the malice in any of that?

Does it not make things 'interesting' that RV crushed it today? Is he not allowed to tell you in a few short words what he saw on the track? We were only watching live timing remember.

You don't think that was kind of a cheap shot at all? think it's kind of insulting.
No, not if it's true.

RV probably had one of the worst weekends of his professional career last week, he's got good reason to really want to make up for that this weekend. Whereas the others probably dont have that same desire in a qualification race, and in very humid conditions. Obviously they were trying, and RV was much faster, but just because Malin's not lavishing praise on him doesn't make him spiteful. He's just not using as many superlatives as you would like.

From Paulins twitter:
Fifth in the timed practice period, I was tenth in the first lap of the qualifying race as I crashed with Searle during the first lap. I came back third which is a good gate for the race, and keep some energy for tomorrow as it's so hot here.

Even RV admitted it to Paul Malin in the press conference that maybe he should have eased it off, as that's probably what the other guys did

I see it as a compliment - it's what is expected of RV, especially by US fans, of course.

Everyone seems to expect "Beast Mode" from him - to use a line from DC.

Most here, myself included, expected RV to dominate these first 2 rounds. Let's see what the race brings. As another previous poster put up, we've seen a mirror image in RV's and AC's results from last weeks and this weeks qualifier. Interesting stuff indeed.

Thing is though, can the others go much faster tomorrow? They've got a LOT of time to try and find from somewhere.

I say probably not, but who knows. Last week threw up a few surprises.

Shit just got real.

Looks like Tommy is over his strained thumb, anyway. Or at least it's not troubling him as much. But did he fall? Because he was running top 5, then all of a sudden he was down in 11th, with a 1:57 lap time.

Weird this, I dreamt RV got pole

I log on here after waking up from a booze -a- thon and guess effing what.......

Either way it's no surprise based on the circuit and his ability. He needed it, so did our American friends Kissing

I'm racing enduro tomorrow so am going to miss all the racing and banter as it happens Sad disappointed but I'll be here to give or receive later in the evening Laughing Tongue Evil Whistling

Good luck everybody, stay classy hahahahahaaaaaa

This weather is more of what RV has lived in the last 6-7 years in Florida, hell a normal day. Most GP guys never experience this weather except when they travel to these destinations.

I love how last week after qualis' and dump trucks of shit was put on RV. Now he did the same thing that AC, Desalle and Nagl did last week, now everyone let up. Umm OK. Typical Malin.

I think it has more to do with American's saying RV was going to sweep the whole championship 1-1, still they dont learn already claiming victory best thing to do is watch until the end of the season because all that hype and bitching etc will just set up RV fans for disaster if things dont go his way.

The track is worse than last week's and I don't see any Americans saying the track is bad this week, funny that.

RV didnt get the memo it was a chill race he screwed up and went 100 percent while the rest went 50.
He is just a man on a bike racing other men.
Every race will be downplayed as the rest chilled or this isnt a typical mxgp track or everyone had an off day.
lets watch the races and let the riders show us what it is going to be.

Jeffro I don't have a problem with most of your posts but FFS look at it a different way, maybe RV was playing mental games witg GP regulars - saying 'this is what I have for tomorrow (and maybe a wee bit more) catch me if you can'
And am with you on Malin, fail to understand the near constant monotone commetary FFS get some excitement into it.
And no I am of some English twat trying to stir up crap, just want to watch guys go at warp speed (compared to me) and that inudes everyone no matter where they are from

Dump trucks of shit? Really.

I swear you guys have your own way of interpreting words. Who would you say is the worst perpetrator, Ryan?

Just makes me laugh how people intepret things.

This was the first post from the Anti-USA, Villopoto-hating pin up boy after last weeks qualification race;

3/7/2015 4:49am
Facts mean jack though, you're seasoned around here you know better than that.

That's why I end up in the arguments, I suspect Ryan's the same.

I'm staying clear this week............wonder how long it'll last though
