We all show up to a freshly groomed Glen Helen on a beautiful Thursday. Every single member shows up and each are provided a stock 2015 YZ125. Where would you rank yourself? Top 3000? Top 500? You think you're top 100? Who's gonna stomp the field? Don't lie too hard about yourself. Provide some background to back up your opinion.

Couldn't find how many members are on Vital so just guesstimate.

As the former 25+ Vet Beginner Champ, I'm pretty sure I'd be top 5

How many vital members are there? How many actually ride MX tracks? I'll say top 95%. I know I beat Jeffro when he was on his RM! Tongue Laughing

At least a hundred guys would DNF, mostly to old age related issues. So I guess I would finish ahead of 100 guys just due to luck and preservation. Though it would be close, I think I am slow and consistent enough to outlast the 60+ group who has to go home before dark.

Pingree, Slippie, uptite, matthes (lol), and a few others, would do ok.

Some young unknown whipper snapper kid would win, and make himself known to the VitalMX world. And get shit for cheating because he used PED's. Or rode a two stroke.

I'd be bringing up the rear (so many jokes could come of that, haha). In all reality, the only time my bike has left the stand in the last year is to just slowly follow my son around on his pw50. I bought my bike after about a 10 year(maybe 12 year, can't remember) hiatus after my son started on his pw. I figured it would be something we could do together, but he doesn't seem as interested as I was expecting. Also, none of my buddies know anything about motocross whatsoever. I mean, nothing. So potential riding buddies are limited too. I guess my "return" has been lackluster, to say the least. I do get on my street bike, but it's just not the same and got boring pretty fast. On a brighter note, my pops has mentioned getting back into riding, so that would be awesome if we can start riding together again.

the only way to honestly know the answer to this would require us all to line up and see...Smile minus the excuses ha ha .......I was relatively speedy back in the day, but with age comes wisdom, (and slowness) today I still line up in the vet expert class, and am starting to think enduro's and hare scrambles instead of starting gates and triple jumps....

The problem I'm having now is getting out on the track......get warmed up a little, get into a flow and start to feel like I'm the man only to have a hotshot catch me, pass me, and leave me.....that part I'm having a little trouble with, It looks like I better get used to it though because it seems to happen more and more each year Smile

It would be very interesting to know if any current pros are active here under aliases.

I can't make claims of speed. B class off road it is for me now.

since its a 125? im sure if jeff alessi, uptite, dv12 etc was on a 125 they would still smoke you if you were on your bike or a 450.

The reason your not the fastest is not because you would be on a 125, it is because your not as skilled as the top guys on this forum..
