What's the latest with those two beside flashback Twitter feeds? Izzi doing select rounds? Austin doing graveyard shift at Domino's?

Only Trey Canard made it out of that graduating class.

Would love to see those 2 guys back out there tho.

Don't forget Wil Hahn. I think he was in that class too.

I believe Ryan Dungey was part of that class,
he just chose to graduate early.

I'm referring to the 2007 Loretta Lynn graduating class, and I don't see Hahn or Dungey in the results.

It was those 3 guys, Canard, Izzi and Stroupe.

Izzi was supposed to be racing up in Canada this summer, but some kind of "issue" prevented him from crossing the border.

I know we're a bit bored in between SX and MX, but really..... who cares.

You obviously cared enough to click on the topic and then post a reply. People make posts like yours all the time and it boggles my mind why they even click on a topic in the first place when they apparently don't care about it. I don't care about old bikes from the 70's etc so when a topic about them comes up I simply don't click on it. Huh

I'm sure Stroupe isn't because my buddy talked to him at the ultra series race last Saturday. He asked him if he was going to go out there and show them boys how it's done at that race, he told him his bike was messed up and he is trying get another bike.

Imo out of all the riders who are on the sidelines stroupe jlaw izzi etc . Izzi is the one who has the chance of coming back but his window of opportunity is closing . From looking at insta and twitter it seems to me stroupe and jlaw are too far out of the loop to get any decent support to make any kind of decent comeback effort. Im not sure if jlaw has given it up now and gone back to florida as well . Might be time for those guys to start looking at a future away from riding dirtbikes.

I remember in 2005 at MTF Stroupe and Davalos had very similar lap times while Stroupe was on an 85 and Martin an Rmz-450. In 2008 i remember Stroupe and Villopoto having some absolutely epic practice battles at Glen Helen and Perris. Pure raw speed is something Stroupe had in abundance.

Austin's dad owns a fried chicken restaurant in town. Not sure if he works there or not. I live in the same town as the Stroupe's. A year or two ago their home caught fire. It was basically destroyed so they leveled what was left. Someone told me earlier this week they have a new foundation marked off on the property.

Two of Austin's uncles and a cousin are customers of ours. But I think its rude to ask them about Austin racing again.

Really? I know for a fact at least pj was a year later cause he shared the horizon award with Durham.

Stroupe and jlaw are never going to be on the startline for a outdoor or sx. Get over it.

Nico would be racing in canada this year if not for a recent legal incident.

So what's the izzi legal incident? I've seen a few people make comments about it affecting his canada opportunity but I haven't actually read what the legal incident was

Well go get some fried chicken and see if Austin is working the register.

I don't expect to see Stroupe, Izzi, or JLaw on the line for a national outdoor or SX race anytime in the future. They are all members of the shoulda-woulda-coulda club.

07: Canard, Hahn, Izzi, and Stroupe
08: Clarke, Durham, Hewitt, Larson, Martin, and Wharton.
09: Baggett, Furtrell, and Wilson

I know he had some prescription drug addiction issues from his multiple injuries a while back...but I thought he had gotten clean and was doing better. What kind of "legal issues" would keep him from not being able to travel internationally?

Could it have anything to do with the custody battle he's said to be going through with his ex-wife?

I heard he Nico'd someone's Izzi.

I assume Izzi had a DUI... only basing that off of the fact that you aren't allowed in canada if you have a DUI, unless you spend lots of money with a lawyer.
