Ralph needs to shut up and stop yelling. I want to hear what Fro and RC have to say, love em or hate em they know their shit and they come out with a gem every now and than. I get tired of Ralph cutting them off mid sentence so he can yell some bullshit about how the (usually incorrect) rider on the (usually incorrect) bike did something that is usually incorrect.
.I don't want someone yelling and trying to create artificial drama - everyone gets it when someone is about to cross a finish line. commentary is good - keeps dead air from happening, but it needs to be interesting and accurate.
Jenny is hot, and has ramped up to get to know the sport and riders in phenomenal time. Best hire they've done so far.
Pit Row
God knows you fuckers are all perfect at what you do for a living, too bad Ralph can't come to your job and talk shit about your little mistakes. So what if he says something wrong once in a while?? who gives a shit, we have LIVE Supercross!!!
Most people know what he's talking about, Lighten up !!
The broadcast is awesome - Remember, it could be worse, you could get Cameron Steele back...
Fro, RC, MC, KW might not be the best, fast-talking commentators, but at least they know everything there is to know about the sport and their insight is great.
I agree that Ralph strays from his commentator role and goes too far sometimes, but remember he has to fill dead air for 3 hours. Maybe a stronger performance from The color commentators would keep Ralph from blabbering on so much.
Carmichael isn't good at the job, as a team owner he's bias too. Windham seems to have done the best job so far, he is articulate and keeps talking.
He does have a habit, though, of naming everyone in Stewart's entourage anytime the camera is on James, but when a privateer is leading an LCQ or something, there are crickets in the booth. Oh, and why would you think that ALL HONDAS ON THE TRACK are "stablemates"?
All in all, he's good at calling motorsports.
