Has said about 5 times that a Pro Circuit rider finished in 3rd. Even said it as they were about to cross to the interview with Bogle. Does he drink ??

He's just so in love with PC he's got Blake Bagget in 3rd even though he was in 7th. Even called Bogle a PC rider on the podium..... Just made his job so much easier last week with all the cliche and phrases he could use with a PC Sweep.

When he gets excited that shrill voice of his drives me nuts. It reminds me of Mickey Mouse's voice.Blink

What happened to the updated broadcast format the last few weeks? It seems to have disappeared. Where's the fox investment? The last two weeks have been more like the broadcast format of the last couple of years, with Ralph talking non stop and carrying the whole load of the broadcast.

My random comments on the crew-

Ralph needs to shut up and stop yelling. I want to hear what Fro and RC have to say, love em or hate em they know their shit and they come out with a gem every now and than. I get tired of Ralph cutting them off mid sentence so he can yell some bullshit about how the (usually incorrect) rider on the (usually incorrect) bike did something that is usually incorrect.

.I don't want someone yelling and trying to create artificial drama - everyone gets it when someone is about to cross a finish line. commentary is good - keeps dead air from happening, but it needs to be interesting and accurate.

Jenny is hot, and has ramped up to get to know the sport and riders in phenomenal time. Best hire they've done so far.

The mute button during the race works great for me. I'm just stoked they are broadcasting every race live.

Did I hear Ralph say "the screaming eagle suzuki" of Tickle? And then RC chortled.

Supercross needs Weege and Windham in the booth. Just my opinion. Although I don't hate Emig.

Jenny is slowly turning into the next Jamie Little, and that's a great thing. Got up to speed real quick, indeed.

I can't say that I'd do much better. I'd just be like "Yup. Those are definitely dirt bikes."

Aside from Ralph, my biggest complaint is there could be a last lap, 21 rider battle for 2nd place (using lasers and kill buttons), yet they'll cut to the guy out front as he "lights the candles".

Did any of you ever see the "Seinfeld" episode where Jerry was tired of getting booed and heckled onstage, so he went to the places of employment where the people who were booing him worked, and booed them while they were doing their jobs?

God knows you fuckers are all perfect at what you do for a living, too bad Ralph can't come to your job and talk shit about your little mistakes. So what if he says something wrong once in a while?? who gives a shit, we have LIVE Supercross!!!

Most people know what he's talking about, Lighten up !!

The broadcast is awesome - Remember, it could be worse, you could get Cameron Steele back...

Ya I noticed Ralph laughing about the guy going over the bars. Definitely not funny and should be taken more seriously.

If I did my job as poorly as Ralph does his, I'd get sued and be out of a job. I don't hate him or anything...but how many years does it take for him to stop sounding idiotic?

Fro, RC, MC, KW might not be the best, fast-talking commentators, but at least they know everything there is to know about the sport and their insight is great.

My job isn't to entertain the public. If that was the case, I would fully expect public criticism.

Ralph's job is to describe the race action, and expert comments come from Emig or whomever, it's not their job to entertain anyone, that's the racers job.

I agree that Ralph strays from his commentator role and goes too far sometimes, but remember he has to fill dead air for 3 hours. Maybe a stronger performance from The color commentators would keep Ralph from blabbering on so much.

Carmichael isn't good at the job, as a team owner he's bias too. Windham seems to have done the best job so far, he is articulate and keeps talking.

I think Ralph's a good guy, and love his interviews when he's been on the pulpshow.

He does have a habit, though, of naming everyone in Stewart's entourage anytime the camera is on James, but when a privateer is leading an LCQ or something, there are crickets in the booth. Oh, and why would you think that ALL HONDAS ON THE TRACK are "stablemates"?

All in all, he's good at calling motorsports.
